HOW TO GUARANTEE YOUR EXCHANGE RATE

Getting the best exchange rate for your currency transfers is not always easy and you may find yourself constantly checking online rates to find that perfect moment to move your money. To avoid checking and refreshing online currency convertors, we recommend setting up a personalised Rate Alert. With a Rate Alert, you simply let us know the currency you wish to track and the exchange rate you would like to receive. We then send you a text or email the minute your preferred rate is available. It is that simple and means you can relax knowing that you will get the rate you want and not lose out.

HERE ARE A FEW FREQUENT QUESTIONS WE ARE ASKED ABOUT RATE ALERTS: Is a rate alert the same as a currency contract?

No. A Rate Alert is different from a currency contract. A Rate Alert is just a guide, and you are under no obligation to purchase when your preferred rate becomes available.

What happens if my preferred rate becomes available overnight?

You will not be able to secure the rate until the next day and by then the rate may have changed. In this situation a Limit Order may be helpful. A Limit Order is when you buy the currency as soon as your preferred rate is reached and requires no conversation with your account manager. Can I get Rate Alerts from my bank?

No. Banks do not offer this service. Set up a Rate Alert today with GC Partners If you have an account with GC Partners, you can set rate alerts within minutes by logging into your online account and selecting ‘Rate Alerts.’ Alternatively, you can speak to your account manager, and they can set the alert for you.
