Artist of the Month: Lloyd Booker

loyd Booker relocated to the Algarve two years ago at the age of 48 from Cheshire in the UK. Alongside the recent opening of his furniture store (Oliveira, Tavira) and accompanied everywhere by his faithful Cocker Spaniel - Oscar, he also continues his lifelong love of photography and art. He has a passion for photographic portraiture, capturing real characters in real situations, the beauty of forgotten inanimate objects and places and, a love of nature and the awesome spectacle it provides us all with. All of which using his talent to see things from unique perspectives. He also accepts private commissions for all types of portraiture; from business photographs for marketing purposes, weddings and proposals, much loved pets, to a simple day out at the beach capturing magical memories forever.
