E&O shareholders support subsidiary’s UK listing E&O has successfully secured the approval of shareholders to list its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary Eastern & Oriental PLC (E&O PLC) on the London Stock Exchange’s Alternative Investment Market (AIM). “The proposed UK listing supports the E&O Group’s international expansion strategy as it would enhance the visibility of our property development and investment activities as well as increase awareness of our brand in the UK,” says E&O Managing Director Dato’ Seri Terry Tham. E&O PLC is proposing to redevelop its real estate assets in Central London, namely ESCA House, Landmark House and Thames Tower into residential and mixed-used developments, pending clearance and approval from the UK Listing Authority and the Malaysian Securities Commission. “E&O maintains an unwavering focus on its long-term strategic direction and this keeps us on track with our goals, which have been articulated in our 3-year business plan,” adds Dato’ Seri Tham.
