Scholarships
There are many ways to lower your college education bill. Coming to EICC is a great first step. Now take the next.
Apply for scholarships. It doesn’t matter if you were a class valedictorian or somewhere in the middle. Doesn’t matter if you are a recent high school grad or been in the workforce for a while. And it doesn’t matter if you are enrolled in a career tech program or plan to transfer in two years. Every student can apply.
IOWA’S LAST-DOLLAR SCHOLARSHIP
Plan to pursue a career technology program and enter the workforce right away? Iowa may cover your tuition. The state’s Last-Dollar Scholarship helps students with limited financial resources get the skills they need to fill workforce shortages. Choose from more than 30 programs. Graduate in two years or less and step into a great job.
FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS
Not only does EICC offer one of the lowest tuition rates in the state, our three foundations support our students with scholarships. In the 2022–23 academic year, the foundations awarded over $600,000 in scholarships. That money helped more than 400 students attending Clinton, Muscatine, and Scott Community Colleges cover tuition, books, and fees.
Everyone who completes a foundation scholarship application is eligible and the process is easy. Apply by March 1 for fall semester and Nov. 1 for spring semester.
