COLLEGE WORK STUDY
Federal Student Aid is the largest provider of financial aid in the nation. It provides grants, loans, and work study funds each year to millions of students. To qualify for Federal Student Aid, you need to complete the FAFSA.
Federal College Work Study allows you to earn money to help you fund your education. These are typically part-time jobs both on and off campus.
The priority filing deadline for the FAFSA is March 1. However, you can complete the FAFSA for the next school year starting on October 1 prior to starting college.
LOANS Student loans are borrowed funds that must be paid back, including interest and fees. To qualify, you must be enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours.

Iowa residents can take advantage of Iowa’s Last Dollar Scholarship, which covers the cost of tuition in more than 30 programs leading to high-demand jobs. The scholarship works simply: File your FAFSA and the state will cover the remaining balance beyond the aid for which you are eligible. That’s right — regardless of your personal income situation, you’ll pay no tuition costs.
