Transferring schools can feel overwhelming. But lucky for you, becoming an EKU Colonel is a simple process. We want to help make it as easy as possible. This guide has all the info you need. Don’t worry if you still have questions—our friendly transfer advisors are ready to help you. They are always just a call or email away. You’ve got this, and we’ve got you.
SIMPLE ADMISSIONS
Your first step is to get admitted to EKU. Complete our FREE application at go.eku.edu/apply You’ll need to send in official transcripts from everywhere you’ve studied (yep, even high school dual credit). If you have fewer than 24 college credit hours, send us your high school transcripts or GED.
With a minimum 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale, you’re in. See, we told you it was easy.

EKU is part of the Kentucky General Education Transfer Agreement. That means, if you’ve completed an Associate of Art, Science, or General Studies degree from schools like KCTCS, your EKU general ed requirements are all taken care of. You can even transfer “full” or “category” general education certifications from participating schools.
