Eastleigh Borough Council’s SportWorks Team are delighted to bring you the Summer of Sport. Aimed at adults aged 16+ years, we’re inviting you to swap the sofa for one of our many sport and physical activity taster sessions taking place this summer. SportWorks is a Sport England funded project that aims to help Eastleigh residents increase their daily physical activity and work towards a healthy lifestyle. The Summer of Sport provides numerous taster sessions in a range of activities, all aimed at beginners and those looking to get fit and active. There will also be a number of beginner courses starting in September, so you can continue taking part in several of our Summer of Sport activities that you have enjoyed. All taster sessions are delivered by the best local providers, so there will be an opportunity to continue should you enjoy any of our activities. Thanks to generous support from Sport England and VIVID, we are able to subsidise these activities with participants being charged just a £2 booking fee per taster session. 3
