The Festival of Print is an annual print exhibition (sadly missed in 2020) held at the Art Pavilion in Mile End Park to showcase and celebrate the diverse and exciting contemporary printmaking taking place at East London Printmakers. The 90 artists showing their work include established printmakers as well as, this year, ActionSpace artists who are on an ELP Community Outreach programme of one to one workshops at the studio. The exhibition covers a diversity of techniques including woodblock, screenprint, etching and relief. Some as monoprint, others as editions.
The Festival of Print provides an excellent opportunity to see an interesting exhibition of original prints. For those interested in buying affordable limited edition prints or building a collection, the recently completed 2021 ELP Box Set will be launched along with other highly professional work and all at affordable prices.
