As we head into a new season, Eastlife too starts a new beginning! It is with great pleasure that I am able to introduce myself as the new editor of Eastlife Magazine. I’m excited to be part of team and have some great plans for Eastlife. You’ll hopefully notice that we have given some of our regular features a fresh look and feel. We’ve also introduced the ‘Social Scene’, which offers you the opportunity to get in touch by our many social media outlets – take a look on page 146. This issue celebrates everything great about summer; al fresco dining, preparing the garden for a BBQ, Wimbledon and exploring the great outdoors with a trip to the regions best loved attractions. This summer is a very exciting time for the region as the Tour De France descends onto the city of Cambridge. To ensure you don’t miss out on the latest events take a look at our ‘Summer in the City’ special. With so much to look forward too, I can’t wait to get out and about in the sunshine! Have a great summer!

AROUND THE REGION The Fling Festival line up is announced!
Who is keeping Norfolk’s wherry heritage afloat?
N
T
he first round of The Fling Festival taking place 28 June has been announced. The arrangements for the 2014 musical line-up have been kept tightly under wraps, until now! With his spectacular live show, Kid Kasino brings The Fling Festival an audio and visual extravaganza; double bass, drums, horns, DJs, keyboards, the full works! Folk-mashup duo Dizraeli & DJ DownLow will perform their poetry slamming, multi-instrumentalist, fresh-faced from their release of ‘Everyone’s A Winner’. Gorgeous George will also be making their Fling Festival debut with a blast on the trombone and the wistful strains of a violin. Forth in line, and hailed as a ‘comedy genius’ by The Telegraph, is Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer who will bring his ‘sublimely funny’ set as he introduces chap-hop to the world. All of this plus an abundance of local talent, such as Strike it Zero and The Kubricks and Little Donkey will be leading the musical line up. Many more acts featuring throughout the day, on more stages than ever, has The Fling 2014 set to be the best festival in its short history to date. The Fling Festival is produced by Chelmsford City Council. Early bird tickets are now sold out! But don’t worry the Tier 2 advance tickets are now on sale from £20 and VIP from £35. www.chelmsford.gov.uk/fling
orfolk’s 116 year old wherry Albion has once again carried precious cargo at the end of last month as it sailed the first barrels of a new ale, brewed in the boat’s honour, to one of the Norfolk Broads pubs in which it will be sold. The new ‘Jenny Morgan’ ale has been brewed by the Green Jack brewery in Lowestoft to help raise money for the Norfolk Wherry Trust, which originally restored and now maintains the wherry Albion as a living piece of Norfolk’s waterway and transport heritage. The charitable ale was sailed from the Albion’s Ludham base and greeted at Ranworth Staithe by the Gold Star Morris. For every cask of Jenny Morgan sold the brewery will donate £5 to the Norfolk Wherry Trust to help it continue in its mission to keep the Albion sailing and open to visitors. Family fun at High Lodge
A
great day out for the whole family while supporting The Beach’s Help An East Coast Child is on offer at High Lodge, near Blythburgh on Saturday 14 June. Feeling peckish? Take a look at our top picks for afternoon tea in East Anglia
I
f it weren’t for the hunger pains of Anna, the 7th Duchess of Bedford, who knows how we would spend a civilised afternoon. Having lived during a time when it was usual for people to take only two main meals a day, breakfast, and dinner at around 8 o’clock in the evening, the Duchess found a solution to experiencing that sinking feeling during late afternoon. She started to take a pot of tea and light snack to her boudoir in the afternoon, invites for her friends to join her followed and before long afternoon tea was sweeping the high society. Fast forward to the present day and we now call ourselves a nation of proud tea drinkers, and as a result it’s no surprise that afternoon tea is more popular than ever before. So much more than a cucumber sandwich and a cream scone, afternoon tea now offers a delightful mix of colour There’s tough competition as every restaurant, hotel and eatery strives to deliver the best quality or sometimes, quirky afternoon tea possible. To help you choose where to spend the afternoon dining afternoon tea around – it was tough job, but someone had to do it! Paddocks House, Newmarket & Poets House, Ely Boutique hotel group, The House collection offers a sumptuous afternoon tea at both its locations. Crafted by resident Chef Leah Jenson and served in its stunning study bars (Poets house in Ely overlooks a gorgeous walled courtyard garden and Paddocks House in Newmarket boasts views of the delightful surrounding stud land), afternoon tea combining the old favourites with modern favourites such as cucumber with dill cream cheese and smoked salmon with lemon crème fraiche. There’s also a selection of cakes such as vanilla lavender éclairs and raspberry passion fruit macaroons, and of course, freshly baked scones. The House Collection places an emphasis on family visits, with a special children’s afternoon tea menu featuring classic sandwiches, brownies and hot chocolate with marshmallows, which allows the kids to enjoy this mid-afternoon treat as much as you do! WEDDINGS
Trim the cost of your wedding flowers with our top 10 tips I
t’s not until you start planning a wedding yourself that you realise how quickly things can start to add up and before long you’ve blown through your budget. If you don’t want to cut corners on the important stuff take a read of our advice for trimming the cost of your flower bill.
1
Potted plants make lovely table centres and can be as simple or as extravagant as you like – orchids, campanula or hyacinths will all look great. They can also be handed out to special helpers at the end of the day as a thank you.
2
Ask your florist if they offer a hire service of glasswear and candelabras – it will be much cheaper than buying it yourself to only use once.
3
Eyes will always be drawn to large arrangements, therefore if you have one flower focal point it will save you decorating every corner of your venue.
4
Use a large arrangement as both a table plan and wishing tree at the reception – two birds, one stone!
5
Before you book your wedding take into consideration the time of year. Avoid Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and Easter as flower prices can soar or even double during these times of year.
6
If you are having your ceremony and reception in the same venue make sure all the decorations can be reused. It will be easy to move decorations without your guests even noticing!

9
Be inspired by a country walk! There are so many wild flowers and stunning foliage that can be picked for free and look absolutely beautiful in a glass vase.
Don’t presume that all table centres need to be high. If you feel as though your reception needs height but can’t afford to do every table mix in low, less expensive alternatives as an option such as hydrangeas.
8
10
Having lots of bridesmaids can sometimes mean you have to think creatively especially if you don’t have a huge budget. Think of ways to reuse all of your bridesmaid’s bouquets. If you have eight or more bridesmaids placing their flowers within a simple vase tied with pretty ribbon could look great as a top table decoration.
While saving costs can be made in most aspects of your flower scheme, do not cut back on a beautifully made bouquet – after all, this flower is likely to be the most photographed, is an accessory to your stunning dress and the one flower you will want to remember. Many brides have their flowers pressed after the big day as a keepsake.

Exceptional Coastal Homes in a Picturesque Setting
A
vocet View is a collection of 12 traditionally designed homes in picturesque Blakeney, a designated area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the North Norfolk coast and part of the Blakeney Point nature reserve, famous for its seals and migratory birds. The development takes its name from the avocet, a small wading bird that became a symbol of the area after its successful reintroduction to the local habitat. The three, four and five bedroom properties sit elevated on the edge of Blakeney village with a number of homes offering distant views of the sea. Built by leading housebuilder Hill, Avocet View is a rare collection of new homes set around landscaped courtyards and designed using traditional and local materials. Externally each property incorporates design features such as cobbled flint, red brickwork, off-white render and
natural clay roof tiles in warm shades of red, to reflect the local vernacular. Underneath the exceptionally attractive exteriors of these properties is state-of-the-art green technology, ensuring that they work in harmony with their environment. Each home contains very high levels of insulation and an air-source heat pump with under-floor heating, which will reduce carbon emissions and fuel bills. The contemporary kitchens are fitted with A-rated Bosch energy saving appliances, alongside the stone composite worktops and solid oak floating shelves. Tony Woodman, sales director at Hill, commented: “Avocet View combines the very best regional architectural design, with energy efficiency and luxurious interiors, all set within a picturesque natural coastal setting. The diverse range of properties available gives you the best of both worlds whether looking for a permanent family home or a holiday bolthole to rent out, we can find the perfect property to suit your needs.” The centre of Blakeney, famed for its narrow streets leading down to the quay, offers a break away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Avocet View is a short walk from the centre of the village, which offers a range of boutique shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants. Blakeney is approximately one hour’s drive from Norwich and Kings Lynn, both of which have good rail connections to London. Also within easy reach are the bustling market towns of Holt and Fakenham. Prices for a three bedroom home begin at £549,950. For more information visit www.hill.co.uk. Tel: 0808 178 9063. eastlife.co.uk | 57

arpeting matters. That’s what experts are saying today. Carpeting is the third largest investment the average homeowner makes. In years past, a carpet was considered a decorative addition. Now it’s one of the basic building materials that help determine home value. When you’re shopping for carpet, the fiber from which it’s made will be your most important consideration. The kind of fiber determines many of the carpet’s qualities and accounts for 80 per cent of its cost. Remember that no fiber is right for all situations. Before you make your choice, you should look at a number of factors: Traffic Is the carpet for a bedroom, where there will be minimal wear and tear? Or a family room, where there will be more? Or a hallway or stairway, which receives the most? Budget Prices vary quite widely. You should look for the best value that you can afford. Moisture Carpet for a bathroom, kitchen, basement or pool area may be exposed to dampness. Some fibers tolerate it, some don’t. Lifetime Do you want the carpet to last for decades? Or are you planning to replace it in a few years? Children and pets Are there likely to be spills and accidents? Kids playing on the floor? You should consider these things before choosing a fiber. Think about fiber in relation to other aspects of the carpet you’re considering. For example, some fibers are best with low-pile or low-loop carpets. Some require greater density or more yarn twist.
Carpet materials Nylon is the most common carpet fiber on the market today. Nylon is most noted for its durability, as it’s the hardest of all the synthetic carpet fibers, it resists wear and abrasion. A nylon carpet will usually last longer than one made from another type of fiber. The fiber also has good resilience -- it bounces back after being bent or crushed. Polyester is another popular synthetic fiber used in carpets. Less expensive than nylon, it once had a reputation for being of poor quality. In recent years, polyester fiber has been improved considerably. It has its advantages and can represent an excellent value for certain applications. Polyester carpets present a beautiful appearance when new. Polyester also comes in some of the richest colors of any fiber. Wool is the most expensive and luxurious fiber in everyday use for carpets. It has advantages over synthetics but costs considerably more. Wool is high-maintenance. It usually requires a professional cleaner to do a careful job. The fiber has some stain-resistance, but wool can absorb protein-based stains like meat juice and blood. It’s also sensitive to dye stains like tea, coffee and wine. Fortunately, because of the way the wool fibers bend light it tends to hide dirt. Wool’s resistance to fire is another plus. While synthetic carpets can melt and burn, wool chars but does not burn. It can be a good choice if cigarette burns are a concern. It also resists dust mites, which can aggravate allergies. The next time the flooring in your home is due a revamp take into consideration what you really want from your carpet to save valuable pennies!

ith a garden dressed to impress, your food will need to match the standard! Take a look at our quick and easy summer recipe for Zesty Summer Fruit Roulade by Kimberley Wilson as part of the Dr. Oetker Even Better Baking Team! Preparation time: 20 minutes Cooking time: 10 minutes Serves 8-10 Ingredients: 3 large eggs 100g caster sugar 100g plain flour 1 sachet of Dr. Oetker Baking Powder ½ teaspoon of Dr. Oetker Sicilian Lemon Natural Extract Filling 300g fat free Greek yogurt 100g lemon curd 120g strawberries, chopped 70g blueberries 1. Heat oven to 200C. Grease and line a swiss roll tin with baking paper (37cm x 26cm). 2. Whisk the eggs and sugar at high speed until pale and fluffy (about 4-6 minutes). 3. Sift in the flour, Dr. Oetker baking powder and Dr. Oetker lemon extract and fold in until fully incorporated. Pour into the prepared tin and gently smooth the surface with a spatula.
A cosy atmosphere can easily be achieved with a chiminea. White Stores in Wickford, Essex has a great selection at an affordable price. The Firefox Chiminea part of The Athena Collection is a traditional 100 per cent sand cast iron chiminea. Available in three sizes, small, medium and large, there is an option to suit different customer requirements and expectations.
4. Pour the mixture into a swiss roll tin (37cm x 26cm x 1cm) and bake in the centre of the oven for 10-12 minutes until golden. While it’s baking prepare a sheet of baking paper, (a few inches larger than the baking sponge) by sprinkling it with 1tbsp of caster sugar. 5. Tip the cooked cake out onto the prepared paper and peel away the paper it was baked on. Along one long side, make a shallow cut 1cm from the edge and use this to start the roll. Roll up the still warm cake, with the paper. Place it seal side down and allow to cool completely. 6. In a medium bowl stir the yogurt to loosen. Add the lemon curd and stir gently to ripple through. 7. Unroll the cake and spread with the yogurt mix, leaving a 2cm edge all round. 8. Sprinkle over the fruit then re-roll loosely so as not to squeeze out all the filling. Turn seam side down, cover with cling film and place in the fridge for an hour to set. 9. Decorate with sifted icing sugar, more fruit and Wafer Dr. Oetker Wafer Butterflies to serve.
With size options available it means even if you have a small garden or live in an apartment with a balcony you don’t have to miss out as the Athena Small Chiminea (pictured top right) is great for entertaining a small group of people as it will produce enough heat to comfortably keep everyone in close proximity warm. Features of the Athena Small Chiminea include handles large enough to actually use unlike many other models available where the handles are merely a gimmick to look nice, and a removable chrome cooking grill which has a lip built around the edge to stop food rolling off and into the fire below. The Athena is priced at only £79.95. eastlife.co.uk | 65

Carers need to be able to offer a child or children a room of their own as well as offering patience, time and commitment to young people of different ages. Carers also need to be reasonably fit and healthy and are subject to criminal disclosure checks. A sense of humour is valuable too! In return, the agency offers professional support from fully qualified social workers, full and comprehensive training and a fee which recognises a professional caring role. Healthy Living The latest in health & fitness Dr Pixie McKenna aims to raise £45,000 for dementia research at the 10k Cambridgeshire challenge
T
elevision medic Dr Pixie McKenna is calling for people in East Anglia to sign up for Alzheimer’s Research UK’s annual sponsored Big Walk this summer to help raise money for pioneering dementia research. For a fourth year running, fundraisers from across the county and beyond are being challenged to pull on their walking boots and stride out to help defeat dementia. Dr Pixie – best known for her roles in Channel 4 shows Embarrassing Bodies and Food Hospital – will start the walk at Milton Country Park on Sunday 13 July. The event is set to be the biggest yet, with the Great Abington-based charity aiming to raise £45,000 – enough to fund a pilot project to test new ideas in dementia research. Dr Pixie, who lives in Cambridge and trained at Addenbrooke’s Hospital before becoming a GP, said: “As a doctor I know only too well how challenging dementia is for countless families, and with a lack of treatments available, research is absolutely vital. The Big Walk includes a choice of two routes, with the main 10k challenge leading walkers along the banks of the River Cam and a 5k route allowing fundraisers to explore Milton Country Park’s picturesque walking trails. Walkers can bring a picnic and will be able to enjoy a range of entertainment
at the end of the route, including live music and children’s games. Alzheimer’s Research UK’s Big Walk starts at 10am on Sunday 13 July from Milton Country Park, Milton, CB24 6AZ. To take up the challenge visit www.bigwalk.org Tel: 0300 111 5 777.

I
write this month’s column on a glorious sunny day in May, is this really the start of summer? With my fingers crossed for a continuation of this splendid early treat, I am more than warmed by the burgeoning promise of exhibitions and shows for the forthcoming season. My choice this month is a personal favourite. The magical, internationally revered, Colin See-Paynton, at the Wild Life Gallery, Lavenham. This latest exhibition is a wonderful opportunity to catch Colin’s latest collection, Nocturnal Encounters. Considered by many to be one of the finest wood engravers in the world, Colin’s intricate and powerful works weave a beguiling spell of mystery and belief. His unfailing accuracy and creative imagination forge to produce pieces of breath-taking beauty and wonder. Owls, hares, foxes and all kinds of twilight creatures meet in a start studded, frost encrusted and shadowed landscape. The viewer is transfixed in awe and pleasure as the poetry and rhythm of his work unfolds, delighting us with his visual narrative. Focusing on a family of hares, which made their home at the bottom of Colin’s garden, these latest pieces tell the tales of their known and imagined adventures. With Colin’s trademark poetic line and lyrical mark making we encounter their world of
flight and moon light fancy. Marrying his intense use of observation with his natural sense of composition and design, the resulting works are both beautiful and enchanting. “His work is based on the meticulous observation of the natural world, inventing complex compositions that link species and their habitats. He uses his knowledge and imagination to construct engravings of great complexity and refinement and has evolved something new by the patterning and layering of his images,” says Andrew Haslen, The Wild Life Gallery. This incredible eye for detail and immense wealth of skill, has earned Colin’s work respect and acknowledgement worldwide. Amongst his admires we find such notables as Sir David Attenborough and the late Sir Kyffin Williams. Arts from Around the Region The Wonder of Birds
LIFT OFF!
P
resenting until 31 August at Kettle’s Yard, Cambridge, visitors to LIFT OFF! will be submersed in Gustav Metzger’s world of creative experimentation and activism between the late 1950s and early 1970s. Bringing together archive, film, sculpture and installations, this ambitious exhibition focuses on a less familiar but central area of Metzger’s practice – his auto-creative process driven work – the alter ego of his better-known auto-destructive practice. The exhibition includes Metzger’s landmark piece Liquid Crystal Environment (1965 remade 2005) on loan from Tate. This hypnotic environment is composed of projections that create constantly shifting psychedelic patterns. The exhibition will also showcase seminal works that Metzger first made during a three-week long exhibition in a university laboratory in Swansea in 1969, which, due to their experimental nature, have not been seen since. The artist has creatively revisited these exciting works using air, water and heat and has made variations, including new work, for the exhibition. The exhibition will be accompanied by an illustrated catalogue and a wider programme of lectures and events. LIFT OFF! lectures will take place 5 June, 8 to 9pm, while there will be a one-day conference in Cambridge that explores the relationships between art, science and technology then and now, 3 July, 7 to 8pm. ARTS Summer season at The Theatre Royal
T
he Theatre Royal, Bury St Edmunds, will this year be keeping the curtain up over the summer, with a full and diverse season of drama, dance, fringe and children’s shows. Opening the season is classic kitchen sink drama, and one of the most influential plays of its generation, A Taste of Honey, starring Rebecca Ryan (Shameless and Waterloo Road). Meanwhile, to entertain the younger generation, the season is filled with a variety of productions to inspire, entertain and raise a giggle! Amongst the delights in store are such classic tales as Pinocchio, which is re-imagined by acclaimed writer for children, Michael Rosen, and brought to life through puppetry, music and storytelling, and The Little Mermaid, which comes in beautiful ballet form! Whilst Emily Brown and the Thing, and Aliens Love Underpants provide more modern tales of unexpected encounters, wild imaginings and of course, fun! And for those who can’t make it to Edinburgh? Well there’re a host of different productions to add a fringe-y feel to the summer. Including music from The Ultimate Louis Armstrong Show to a modern production of La Bohème! Meanwhile, there are some classic shenanigans as the Reduced Shakespeare Company condense the Bard’s complete works into just 97 minutes of madcap Elizabethan fun, and Austentatious: An Improvised Novel takes audience suggestions and turns them into a new, and rather novel, Austen-inspired play! Those with an interest in the history will enjoy The Antiques Stageshow, sponsored by Ashton KCJ Solicitors.
An evening with celebrated auction house Bonhams, complete with a drinks reception, valuation quiz, talks and even a pre-show valuation, this will be an evening of sparkling entertainment! www.theatreroyal.org

SUMMER IN THE CITY
Discover
T
Cambridge
he ultimate summer in the city destination has to be the inspiring city of Cambridge. With so much to see and do it’s well worth a weekend getaway. Cambridge may be a small city but it still packs a punch. As well as the world-famous University, there are medieval streets and a thriving nightlife to explore, and the city’s compactness means you can easily explore its historic churches, bridges and museums on foot. If you feel like that floating feeling, make sure you take a leisurely punt along the River Cam. Cambridge’s history encompasses more than the University. The 31 historic colleges that make up this venerable institution, the first of which was established in 1284, dominate the town, and it would be madness not to spend some serious quality time checking out one of Europe’s finest collections of buildings. Attractions Those with green fingers should head to the Botanic Garden to experience the impressive variety of plant species on display. Since its opening in 1846, Cambridge University Botanic Garden has been an inspiration for gardeners, an exciting introduction to the natural world for families and a refreshing oasis for all our visitors. This heritage-listed Garden has been designed for both year-round interest and seasonal inspiration so, whenever you visit, you will find plants to intrigue and enchant. Cambridge also has many fascinating museums, including the Fitzwilliam where antiquities spanning several centuries can be viewed along with art masterpieces by Titian. If you like your art contemporary, then check out the exhibitions at Kettle’s Yard. You can also see Charles Darwin’s specimens at the Zoology Museum, or don an icy beard and take an expedition to the Scott Polar Institute. The fan-vaulted ceiling of the iconic King’s College Chapel is also well worth the admission price and the resulting neck strain. Culture & Shopping When it comes to live music, Cambridge has it all from classical recitals in historic 13th century colleges to local bands trying to make it big in one of the city’s great pubs. If theatre is your passion, then simply choose from just one of the four big venues offering everything you could want from a night treading the boards. Visit the Eastlife website for performances this summer at www.eastlife.co.uk
Cambridge has the high street shops you know and love, but for a more exclusive shopping experience head to the market where people have been selling their wares since Saxon times. It’s a great place to chat to the local characters and buy the best regional produce. For handcrafted items take a trip to All Saints Garden. The All Saints Garden Art and Craft Market has been part of the Cambridge scene for over thirty years, providing the opportunity for local artists and craftspeople to exhibit in this delightful open-air setting just opposite Trinity College. This friendly market provides a special opportunity to meet the artists and makers, discuss their work, and to buy unique hand-made products direct from the maker. Trinity Street, Cambridge. Places to Stay Whether you are looking for accommodation in Cambridge for a night or if you fancy a short break, booking online couldn’t be easier. Best Western PLUS The Gonville Hotel is a four star 80 bedroom hotel, with recently refurbished bedrooms and free Wi-fi. SUMMER IN THE CITY
Experience the summer in
Ipswich
I
t may not be officially a city, but with its vibrant culture and many attractions Ipswich has asserted itself as the city of Suffolk. An exciting town where life centres around the water: shops, restaurants and bars line the waterfront, and the architecture echoes a maritime history. The waterfront is one of Ipswich’s main attractions and no visit would be complete without a stroll along the water’s edge or an evening meal with a sunset view of the oats in the harbor. Attractions Ipswich is a place where the creative arts thrive. The town is culturally rich, and is home to many galleries – most prominently the Artists’ Gallery in Electric House, Christchurch Mansion and the Town Hall and two museums. Theatre-goers will be able to enjoy a range of entertainment at Ipswich’s 400 seat venue, New Wolsey Thetare, while dancelovers can appreciate the art at the popular waterfront dance venue, DanceEast. ‘If Play is Play’ is part of DanceEast’s latest One Night Stand initiative - the aim of which
is to introduce new work by the best new dance companies to the Jerwood DanceHouse. Tickets are available at the Boxoffice. Ipswich is a great place for enjoying the great outdoors. The towns main park, Christchurch Park is located a short walk from the city centre, making it a great place to relax on a sunny day. Where to eat The Highwayman restaurant is housed in a grade II listed 17th century timber framed building. A friendly family welcome is extended to all diners who come to sample the honest, home-cooked food. If you fancy something more European head to Alaturka Restaurant, which focuses on creating a menu which perfectly fuses traditional and modern Turkish cuisine, served in a friendly, relaxed environment. Where to stay Ipswich is home to a range of luxury boutique hotels. Offering two locations in Ipswich the Innocence Rooms beautifully designed rooms comprise spacious self-service accommodation, while the
artfully designed Salthouse Harbour Hotel is a luxurious four-star boutique hotel and restaurant. What’s on? Taking place 20 June – 13 July, The Ipswich Arts Festival offers a varied programme of events such as visual arts, film and music. Help the community try and set a new Guinness World Record attempt for the largest gathering of fairies in one place, in the March of 1,000 Fairies taking place 22 June at the Christchurch Mansion Lawn or head to the 5th annual St Peters Street summer market which celebrates a diverse range of art and design, vintage and crafts with over 30 stalls, also taking place 22 June. There will be Samboomba, the salsa band, playing at 1.30pm and the Thomas Wolsey Pub has live music planned for the afternoon. Ipswich celebrates its maritime past with the Maritime Ipswich festival: a weekend of events including nauticalthemed and continental markets, music aboard a historic barge, Georgian re-enactments, beer festivals, street entertainment and fireworks! This year’s festival will take place 15 – 17 August. eastlife.co.uk | 145
