EASTREA now has a provisional site for its hall. It is on the right hand side of the road as you drive from Eastrea to Coates, just as you leave the main built-up area.

The village hall will offer many new facilities. First, it will be our social centre and be a base for a computer system, with colour printing and full internet facilities.

One of the Village Hall Committee, Dave Smith, has recently compiled the following list of suggested uses for our village hall:

We need Eastrea people to meet as committees to do several things: + To organise and campaign for new developments + Arrange village questionnaire + Establish funding and management for the village hall + Organise village events, shows and competitions + Erection of a village sign + Co-ordinate public relations, etc. PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR INTEREST IN HELPING People who would like to meet to help our village are needed now!
