The all new Airlock improves on the industry’s best inflation / deflation valve. The new Airlock completes our Sprint single point inflation system. The new one way valve allows for a higher volume of air to pass through it. Airlock 2 has a new coaxial type of hose attachment which now does not require an adapter to work with our new Sprint pump. Just attach the hose directly to the valve with a quick quarter turn.
This year we have included a simple to use line management tool. Each time you wind your lines onto the control bar you can attach the ends of the lines to the line manager in sequence. That way, when its time to reattach your lines they will be free of tangles. Setting up your lines has never been easier.

Its improved light wind performance can be attributed in part to its new lighter weight design. We’ve reduced the number of struts and have distributed the Dacron sparingly and more efficiently. Thus earning its new designation as the Crossbow LW (Light Weight). The Crossbow’s bow kite design is another factor in providing a wide wind range and light wind performance. The bow kite design allows us to produce a high aspect kite with a flatter arc which delivers more power per square meter than a non bow kite. In 2012 the Drifter surf kite was a breakaway success. Surfers worldwide have now come to know the benefits of “drift stability”. Drift stability, one of the Drifter’s prominent features, is the kites ability to stay afloat and drift downwind when the kite is depowered. This so called slack line drift function allows the rider to power into the wave, then shut the kite power down and surf as if the kite was not even there. When the rider needs to power back up the kite is quick to re- engage and power the rider to the next section. The Drifter’s hybrid design is slightly more upright and compact in shape. This makes the Drifter turn on a dime, and power and depower on command. When the wind conditions are marginal and you need to steer the kite a lot, the Drifter will surgically place the kite where you need it exactly when you need it.

The RelauNch kite is a scaled version of our inflatable kite which is designed to teach a student how to operate a fully functioning 4 line IDS kite. As the name denotes, the Relauch will teach a rider the real world techniques of reverse launching an inflatable kite by pulling on the left or right leader lines. One of the features allowing us to internalize everything is the dual chamber PU tubing. The protective PU tube allows us to run the depower mainline and the IDS landing line through the center of the bar without the risk of abrasion or tangling.

QuickLink boasts an internal swivel which allows the rider to manually unspin any twists in their lines. The IDS landing line and depower main line spin in unison eliminating the possibility of tangling.

The centrally located security pin is easily removable for those who would like to ride unhooked. The center location of the pin also serves to reduce foul hooking.
The line winders have been lowered yet again to be directly in line with the bar itself. This keeps the ends from bending while winding your lines. The result is a more positive line hold.
The main QR has been improved in 2013 to allow for a simple and easy re-connection on land or water. To reconnect, simply push the QR up until it catches on the hook, Insert the pin through the tower and cover the pin with the QR.
SECONDARY QR
located below the main QR the secondary qr allows the rider to completely disconnect from their kite if the situation calls for it. As a safety precaution, we’ve designed it so that the secondary QR can’t be activated until after the main QR is activated first.

The EVA ends are buoyant enough to float the entire control system with lines attached thus making the bulky floats on the leader lines unnecessary. The tips have flex grooves which aid in the bending of the tips while winding your lines onto the bar or while steering your kite.

The leash can rotate freely around the harness loop.
One of QuickLink’s defining features is our Recoil trim adjuster. Recoil keeps your trim adjusters in the same position every time. Even after you’ve depowered your kite, Recoil will return the trim adjusters to the exact same position for easy operation. In 2013 we have modified the trim adjustment handles to deliver a more positive grip.

The all new Andre Phillip Custom model has a new tip and tail shape that delivers more grip on the water while being more unrestricted on sliders. The Custom has a clean ride in any type of water conditions but it is hard to find a better board for extreme chop than the Custom. The generous rocker line makes the Custom insanely fun in small surf or on kickers. This board is an exercise in minimal design. Keeping the lines and aesthetic true to the core of wakestyle.
