Giving Categories: Thanks to generous donors like you, the Eau Claire Community Foundation has been able to navigate the rough waters of the pandemic and continue enhancing the quality of life in the Chippewa Valley. Despite so much uncertainty in 2020, your support helped ECCF increase our positive impact on the entire community. One shining example of this impact is the Response & Recovery Community Fund. When we created it to meet needs caused by the pandemic, our initial goal was to raise and distribute $250,000 to local nonprofits. They were struggling to meet the increased community needs while coping with unexpected revenue losses. But the response from you and donors like you went far above our most optimistic expectations. Your donations allowed us to distribute $612,000 in much-needed funding directly to local nonprofits. Other 2020 highlights include: • Over $2.43 million distributed through 450 grants • Over $5.8 million in gifts received • Over $35.1 million in total assets At ECCF, we use our deep knowledge of the community, expertise in charitable giving, and commitment to permanent, sustainable philanthropy to help community members achieve their philanthropic goals. But we couldn’t do our work without your support. During a year of uncertainty, you served as a steady reminder of philanthropy’s promise. Create Culture Supports programs and organizations that enhance the quality of life in our community through music, literature, visual arts, performing arts, and museums.
Form Futures Enhances learning opportunities for children and adults in the Eau Claire area. Form Futures grants may also provide community development opportunities.
Give Green Supports programs that engage children and adults in activities that improve environmental quality or provide fitness, health, and wellness opportunities. It also includes support for animals and wildlife.
Offer Opportunities Provides children, adults, and families with basic needs such as food, shelter, clothing, health services, veterans’ programs and disability assistance.
