The Project Design a residential area on land situated between two rivers and create common areas, individual spaces, pathways and accesses. The Concept The houses, entirely covered with wood and glass, are formed of two simple volumes that overlap and fit together. The internal organization is simple and dictated by the southern orientation. Thus, common areas open to the outside and take advantage of outside views and sunlight. To protect from heat, wind and provide privacy, terraces are bordered with windbreaks. The wood cladding builds a discreet relationship with the natural environment without interfering with it. The common areas are separated from the individual spaces and both are located on two different levels. To protect from the "vis-Ă -vis", the individual plots are shifted with regard to each other. This also creates a serpentine flow across the terrain, where residents can walk around, and creates common green areas. The houses are slightly differentiated from each other through the inversion of the two volumes. The common areas can be on the first floor or on the ground floor.

Square Jean Jaurès The Project Redesign the Square Jean Jaures, located in the city Oullins southwest of Lyon, to make it better adapted to its function

The Concept The idea was to create a harmonious space that is a space for walking and a place of relaxation and rest. Five islets propose a movement across the square and animate the site by means of full and empty spaces, linked by a shelter structure, which also serves as a guide through the square, and provides lighting. Each islet has a specific vegetation to represent the different seasons, making this place a space that is constantly changing with the seasons and enlivens the square.

Alzheimer’s Special Unit The Project The French town, LÊguevin, wants to enlarge the retirement home "Curtis", in order to provide residents affected by Alzheimer's disease a resting structure corresponding to their needs and to those of caregivers. The new Alzheimer's Unit should create authentic living spaces, comprising 12 residents with intellectual and physical deterioration. The aim is to maximize space in the retirement home and to improve monitoring of people with dementia and behavior disorders. The architectural environment should prevent from escapes and accidents while ensuring maximum comfort for the patient, family and carers.

The Concept Thanks to its architectural design, to the planning, the treatment of the different spaces and the use of light, the project provides residents with greater autonomy. Indeed, through the establishment of landmarks (such as the use of different materials), the project facilitates the recognition of spaces and their functions, and responds to the residents’ needs. Alzheimer patients have a great need to move, so I attached particular importance to the implementation of elements that encourage wandering. The architecture accompanies their movements, whether vertical or horizontal. The project stimulates memory and provides comfort by using elements of the past, such as the facade inspired by regional tobacco barns, the landscaping inspired by village squares, or the interior design inspired by family homes. The daily life of patients and caregivers is facilitated while providing a contemporary architectural design.

The Project Design a showroom for the furniture company "Kartell", that on the one hand enhances the collections and welcomes the customer in a friendly way, and on the other hand facilitates the daily life of the employees. The specification includes a reception / two administrative offices / an executive office / a resting area for the staff / an exhibition space.

The Concept The key word at Kartells Company, which can be found in constancy, is “multitude, whether in terms of stores, designers, products, colors, materials, etc. The idea for the architectural design for the showroom was to take this term and to bring a sense of abundance. Thus you can find a multitude of volumes, surfaces, colors and light. The exhibition area consists of eight volumes that are deployed on the Ground floor, the first floor and in the garden. The volumes are composed of sheet steel, comparable to containers, which recall the industrial aspect of Kartell and of mass production. Each container has a different lighting and proposes a different atmosphere.

The Project Redevelop the store of UCPA (National Sport Center Union). The store, located in Lyon (France), is currently replete and unfunctional, because the space has a long and narrow shape. The interior design does not reflect the brand image of UCPA.

The Concept The idea of ÂŤ sharing Âť is very important to UCPA. Indeed, sport trips are proposed in order to create new links and share good times. The notion of sharing is considered to be the main quality of UCPA and must be eye-catching as soon as you enter the store. To translate the brand image of UCPA, a steel module, like a ribbon, runs through the various spaces and creates a link between the different functions of the store (waiting area, information area, sales office ...). This design frees up space, provides liberty of movement and solves the space problems. The module, visible from outside, leads the costumer right to the inside. Front Office: waiting area, brochures consultation, reception area, sales (43,04m2) Back Office: offices, staff resting room, storage area, and technical area (55,84m2)

Improvement of an attic The Project Transform the attic of a family home into a space for two children aged eleven and twelve. Specifications: Two bedrooms with desk and storage space, a common playroom with library and storage.

The Concept The two bedrooms, placed one beside the other, are only accessible by the common playroom. This reinforces the notion of privacy. The playroom opens onto the corridor and allows parents to keep an eye on their children. The curved wall creates dynamism, enhanced by a colorful painting that provides a visual link between the playroom and bedrooms. Spaces below the east and west ends of the attic are used for storage. The different areas are oriented so that everyone benefits from natural light.

La cabane sur le chien The cabin on the dog The project Design a stand for the children’s book publishing company "la cabane sur le chien". The project includes a reception, a library and a space for the presentation of best-sellers. www.lacabanesurlechien.com

The concept The stand consists of different volumes fitting one into another, like a children’s shape sorting box. Thus each volume in the stand is a recess in a wall or ceiling. The use of color emphasizes and reinforces the architectural design and conception. The stand welcomes both, children and adults, adapts to all sizes and offers a space for small and big ones.

The Project «Imagine a microarchitecture for insertion into a room, a garden, a playground, a space to conquer. A space, for children less than 8 years, whose use is to imagine, but above all a space to share: to read, play, sulk, dream, whisper, dress… All this by integrating environmental issues, and of course leaving the child the opportunity to intervene, to individualize its space.» Competition launched in 2009 by the “Institut français d’architecture” (French Institute of Architecture) and the “Cité de l’architecture & du patrimoine” (City of Architecture & Heritage). h t t p : / / m i n i m a o u s s e - v 4 . c i t e c h a i l l o t . f r

The Concept The project is designed for children aged from 6 to 8, and fits into a bedrooms It is both a workspace and a drawing space. Indeed, the two cardboard modules can be transformed with a folding system: unfolded they cling to the wall and can be used as a drawing board, folded they become seat and desk. The child can fold and unfold them, according to its needs, and has the opportunity to customize its workspace (with its own drawings). Lightweight and compact, the modules can be moved by the child itself, and offer it the possibility to organize its space and to move freely. Sold as a kit with a manual, the installation of the product can be done alone or with a parent, which offers moments of sharing.
