The winning proposal for the industrial site of the Poziello’s factory, is to place a living space cover above the preexistence structure, making this a structural support. The purpose is to ensure maximum freedom in the working space, which will host various machines for woodworking. The cover realized as a wooden Vierendeel’s structure, houses offices, suddifivisi in six boxes, each of that faces in small courts that receive light from skylights and look to the floor of the workspace. Inside the cover there is also the office of the boss, Mr. Poziello, a volume projecting outward with views on three sides, to the courtyard to the east, on the working space and to the sales space.

On the ground floor are articulated functions of direct sells to consumers of custom and tailored products, new trand of the company, this area is placed within the existing structure, preserved and adapted to the character of the new building. The space for working wood, in directly connected to the sells area, is designed whit a large free surface and easy for the handling of materials. The proposal will be built by the end of 2016.

The proposal for the new Gugghenaim of Helsinki wants to be a polyvalent cultural container opened to the city. It builds new public spaces and it doesn’t waive to define an adequate location for needs of contemporary artistic culture. Uses connected with exhibition activities are placed in an underground giant level while accessory uses are concentrated in a big slab defining a landmark for the entire archipelago. The burial of exhibition spaces’ volume allows the utilization of the huge covering as a public square and as a space for artistic installations at same time.Square hall (56m X 56m) with glazed roof represents the core of the exhibition.

The warped geometry and the flaunted closure of NorthWestern facade accentuate the building’s monumental attitude that, as backdrop of new esplanade, looks like an assertive monolith. Opposite front reveals, the richness of internal space: café, restaurant, multipurpose room, offices and in particular the atrium with its 25 meters of height. The corridor-loggia is an internal element of the building and an urban element at same time. On the one hand it builds an intermediate point of view on the great hall, on the other it is a connecting finger with the nearby public park. The lobby represents the foyer of the conference hall and a place for visitors’ rest.

Our project is not for this generation: to get that, we’ve already given up long time ago. They say that when you hit rock bottom you can only go up. Naples instead decided to start digging. We questioned a lot ourselve about how the architecture could give an answer to the problems of this city, but the truth is that this response did not make even God. The Lungomare, they say. Naples like Barcelona has “turned the back to the sea”, they say. For real ? We didn’t realized it, but either way is fantastic news !

Our plan for the Waterfront includes a wall made of vibrocompressed concrete blocks, 5 meters high and 60 cm thick. On the side of the wall facing the city is applied to a mirrored surface. Naples should be reflected in its miseries. People need to see what we have become. People need to understand before participating . At a guess thirty years will go by, then - if all goes well someone will pick up a pickaxe...

The purpose of the project is redevelop the structure, partially modifying the intended use in favor of tourist functions, considering the high commercial potential that the area offers in terms of flows of people and, specifically, tourists. The context in which the structure is placed in fact has a strategic importance, lying between the Via Roma and the Fisherman’s Beach. The aim is to create a building that invites passers-by to visit or to stop. In this sense, the current configuration of the building is fairly disadvantageous because the central entrance relatively modest. The courtyard building is a particularly good choice for a structure with sided market shops, but less functional and permeable for occasional or casual passerby.

The project is based on a substantial opening of the main front on the transom, through a sort of portal, generated through the demolition of part of the short side and the extrusion of the long sides. To give more importance to the building stage, which is still seen as a public place and aggregation, the project uses the actual height of the shell, consequently raising the curtain. In the short side a double height gives more importance at the entrance of the new building and serves as an atrium. The building will be coated with a membrane permeable to visually wooden strips in double height. The traditional functions of the market, are flanked functions more tourist, retail sales of local products and souvenirs and restaurants or takeaway.

The objectives of the project proposal are the urban redevelopment of the area and the road axis of Via Cerlone, via Luigi Mercantini, via Canzanella Old and conjunction with Via Metastasio, the optimization of the road system in the area to facilitate the accessibility and improve the fruition, the lightening of the load on the vehicle adjacent commercial streets. The first goal to be achieved is not so much the creation of an object “material”, but the definition of new streams of users who can broaden the the catchment area over the residents. The intention is to propose the area via Cerlone as part of a commercial network between Via Leopardi and the market in Via Metastasio and presenting himself to the urban scale as a “zipper” between Fuorigrotta and the hillside.

The project area has already a commercial vocation; commercial functions and exhibitions are to some extent already inherent in the context and the principle that should guide the design will be the definition and the rationalization of these areas. The criteria of self-regulation which the design process you will have to submit are carried forward to the concepts of Sustainability Site already expressed by LEED the proposal is structured according to three main functions: - the park - the “Commercial Wall” - the area Stop & Exchanges

In contrast to a market that rewards individualism in Architecture, the collective claims the right to a team design, aware that a project is process and conflict well before the construction. The collective periodically offers design workshops that offer to groups of students and young professionals the opportunity to question the forms of public space, in the belief that architecture should establish itself as a civic art. The installation for SpazioNEA no exception to this pattern and it is also the result of teamwork, which is deliberately unfinished: within a system of rules defined, the customer becomes the protagonist of spatial experience and modifier of an open process.

DelphiLAB + and Res Architecturae are a collective of young architects from Campania, as well as a project in itself. For us the work of an artist has no value “as such”; it does not represent an end in itself; it has no intrinsic beauty. The value of a work of art is determined by its relationship to the community. In the creation of each great work of art the contribution of the architect is explicit, while the contribution of the community is latent. The awards ceremony of the Photo Contest “Pozzuoli ieri, oggi e domani organized by Pro Loco Pozzuoli, as seen the construction of a light and informal exposition. It was chosen to focus on an item easy to find, inexpensive and not involving the violation of a protected archaeological heritage, which is Villa Livia in Pozzuoli, which hosted the event. The idea starts from a recycled element: the pallet, a wooden structure for the transport of goods and materials for the building. Assembling two opposed modules, you can get a good tripod, which exhibit the photographs of the participants in the competition, from 1 to 3 photos for each author, the

size uneven. Superimposing three modules, you can instead get a nice seat. The show was concentrated in the main room of the villa. The stands are arranged in radial position, corresponding to the impluvium of the room, according to various giaciture, which facilitate the use of the exhibition and invite the visitor to the path.

This project wanted to give a concrete answer to what are the problems arising from the volcanic risk in the Vesuvius area, through the analysis of the event and its phenomena, providing appropriate technologies to mitigate risk with advanced materials. The phenomena of volcanic risk analyzed are the ash fall and the phenomenon of pyroclastic flows, which are extremely dangerous as there is no adequate technological responses. Through the analysis on critical issues of existing technologies and the built heritage, was chosen a strategy of intervention appropriate, focusing on the preservation of the housing stock and infrastructure, through the technological retrofit of the of railway’s network,

through the use of nano-structured cements whit high performance, UHPC (Ultra High performance Concrete), which offer performance plus in response to volcanic risk. The idea is to work on the station of Torre AnnunziataOplonti, located within the most riskky areas, after the analysis of possible scenarios outlined by the Civil Defence. The station of Torre Annunziata, represents an important interchange and a direct connection with the archaeological site of Oplonti.

musical notes are arranged in a regular time interval, such as 4/4 time, and a time irregular, that in 3/4 or also said triplets.

This vision creates a sort of parallel between the architectural composition and architectural composition.

Similarly, the triplet is comparable to the three churches, Church of Carimine, Church of St Eligius and Church of Santa Croce, syncope is the architecture as designed, instead the quatrain, is the sea that meets the dock several times in an instant.

Syncope is the relationship that is created between two similar items and a different one, antithetical to the other two, a foreign object, which tends to infinity, in this case two volumes to the heart of the Mercato district, its monuments and the other to the sea, precisely to the infinite. In music the syncope is used to join two musical figures appartententi times divers, the regular one, where the
