COLLECTIO N 2019

Kronprinsessegade 8, kld. 1306 Copenhagen, Denmark www.eberhart-furniture.com

eberhart furniture. Eberhart Furniture was founded in 2014 by cousins Rune Vigil and Esben Christoffersen. We are driven by the ambition of creating credible furniture, which proves the fact that they are created from nature’s best materials. All the furniture in our collection is designed by our selves. During our first years we have strongly focussed on exploring concrete, which is produced in-house. We produce and construct our pieces on Esben’s family-owned farm in the south of Funen. We design slowly, with the purpose of making few original and functional designs with a certain Eberhart DNA. This catalogue contains 4 collections from Eberhart Furniture: a series of round tables based on our iconic assembly ring construction, a series of tables with our significant T-profile aluminum under frame, our brand new all wooden dining table series, as well as a dining chair which also resembles as a barstool. Enjoy.

01

gaspard. Aesthetically and constructively, Gaspard refers to our own agricultural age, and the under frame is thus inspired by the timber framing construction of an old Danish farm. Around Gaspard in the black oiled massive oak, you almost sense the heat from the crackling wood stove and the long-frying dish in the cast iron pan, where the aroma is mixed with pipe tobacco and heavy port. Let the tranquility of the evening and winter darkness sink in with a dinner around Gaspard. Gaspard is carried out in black oiled massive oak.

03

daphne. The coffee table Daphne clearly communicates the agenda of Eberhart, by speaking a pure language of simple and raw design. The table is constructed by three sub elements: The assembly ring, which combined with the almost floating concrete tabletop and the sculptural impression of the legs, gathers the design around form and material. Daphne is pictured in its original constellation: Light grey concrete tabletop, light untreated oak legs and an assembly ring in bead blasted steel.

05

hector. Designed to be the center of great dinner gatherings, important meetings at the workplace, or even small refreshment meals during the day, Hector is the perfect choice for a dynamic space with its elegant expression and form. The table is easily extendable with the extra leaves, and the round shape ensures inclusion and an equal placement for everyone around the table. The original Hector in black grey concrete with mounted extra leaves represents a visual interpretation of Eberharts design-DNA: simplicity, cleverness, the sculptural essence and raw materials. Hector is pictured with legs and leaves in black oiled oak, a black grey concrete tabletop, and a massive brass assembly ring. The original Hector measures 120cm. With extra leaves mounted 170cm.

07

babette. Babette is a dining chair with softer strokes, proposing a delicate feminine comment to the more masculine collections of our tables. It was in fact in this context the idea of Babette arose, since she is originally designed as a specific correspondent to Hector, creating a complementary and complete expression when presenting both table and chairs together. A noteworthy design detail is the angle of the legs of the chair, which have been rotated 45 degrees from a traditional leg frame perspective, where the four legs are often positioned side by side. As the photo indicates, the Babette dining chair is also stackable. On this page, Babette is seen with a black and white powder painted frame, padded seats, and a backrest in untreated and black oiled oak.

09

arn. With its monumental character, Arn is the perfect choice for a larger space where you wish to leave a simple yet serious impression. The table is designed to function as an entity to gather around for big decisions at the workplace, or as the foundation for great dinner experiences. Arn is also very well complemented by the softer nature of the Babette chair. This picture portrays a meeting situation with Arn 250cm x 100cm - with a tabletop of white concrete and a white coated T-profile aluminium frame.

11

daphne & bertha. Together, the table sisters Daphne and Bertha are an elementary part of any stylish living space or lounge area. With her low ample reach, Bertha can elegantly be pushed in to position herself slightly under her sister Daphne and in this way create a complete statement. In this union, the form and function of Daphne and Bertha rise to a higher level. Daphne is shown with an oak tabletop and steel assembly ring, while Bertha has a white concrete tabletop, a brass assembly ring and oak legs.

13

arn. With a clean and sharp definition, Arn will reign majestically in both dinner- and meeting situations. Arn finds himself best suited with enough air and space around him, and will dominate the stage in every setting. The table is a statement that underlines the conscious style of its owner. The tabletop is demonstrated here in black grey concrete and has a customized size of 300cm x 100cm. The under frame is made of aluminium with black finishing.

15

daphne & hector. Concrete holds a special place in our hearts, and for years, we have obtained beautiful results with black grey, light grey and white tabletops. With the white concrete tabletop you will notice, that the elegance of the table is underlined further, and the expression is significantly lighter and very summery. The white tabletop communicates an extraordinary clean and immaculate expression. Hector and Daphne are presented with tabletops in white concrete, light oak legs and assembly rings in massive brass.

17

arn. We are simply infatuated with this portrayal of Arn, which by way of a blooming ceiling luminaire lets us experience the more artistic character of Arn and shows us how Arn is also useful in a softer setting. Arn is completed in all white concrete with an under frame consisting of white coated aluminium. The measurement of the table is here 250cm x 100cm.

19

gaspard. For generations our ancestors lived in traditional half-timbered houses first in villages and later after relocating in the countryside. The way our early half-timbered houses were built made it possible to move the houses several times over generations and then rebuild them based on the original wood structure of the house. The assembly detail of Gaspard - a simple wooden peg - refers both aesthetically and functionally to this inherent skill and thus solve the challenge when Gaspard is to be packed, set up, separated and reassembled. The picture indicates a close-up of the Gaspard base in black oiled solid oak and illustrates the simplicity of the table.

21

ivo. As if by magic the Arn dining table is reduced to the stylish and elegant coffee- or lounge table Ivo. The construction, method of creation and aesthetics are completely the same as on Ivo’s father Arn, but the scale is new and obvious. The tabletop in concrete rests on a T-profile symmetrical frame. This detail is Arn and Ivo’s distinctive feature. Ivo here in white concrete and under frame in white aluminum. The background reveals numbered concrete reliefs.

23

aldric. Daphne and Bertha’s fresh older brother is Aldric; a light and airy cafÊ table that plays well with the small bohemian street restaurant or the cosy balcony. With its slim form, Aldric fits into most settings, while its capability to place 4 dining table settings in combination with the lightness of the table, also makes it ideal for any hospitality purpose. Aldric is demonstrated here in a black grey concrete tabletop, black coated assembly ring and black oiled oak legs.

25

ivo. “The bridge-builder you might call this version of Ivo. The union of our Arn-series and Ring-series is expressed through this rather flamboyant and voluminous coffee- or lounge table. Just because you can, it does not mean you have to. In this case, fate would though that a variation with a Hector tabletop and an Ivo under frame transformed into a beautiful and harmonious version of the table. Ivo with a round tabletop has found a natural place in the overall collection and it magically binds our 2 original table series even better together. Ivo with a 120cm black grey concrete tabletop and black aluminum frame.

27

hector. The cosy candlelight dinner atmosphere can quickly be transformed when mounting the extending extra leaves which hereby immediately elevates the table to a monumental state. With its extending leaves, Hector can comfortably facilitate a dining setting for 10 guests. On a daily basis, the leaves rest beautifully in their anonymous floor stand. Here, Hector is displayed in its original form completed with a light grey concrete tabletop, a bead blasted steel assembly ring and untreated oak legs, while Babette is seen with a white coated frame, oak backrest and padded seats. Extra leaves for Hector are placed in the floor stand.

29

marion. When Babette transforms into a barstool, we call her Marion. She can elevate the stylish expression in the restaurant-, hotel lounge or bar area. Marion is a bar stool that also delivers a high level of comfort as well as an arm- and footrest, which leaves the bar guest well seated with no desire to move on. Marion is pictured in a white and black coated steel frame with padded seats and a backrest in respectively black oiled and untreated oak.

31

gaspard. In the context of simplicity, the airy chassis of Gaspard makes it possible to place guests freely around the table without annoying table legs getting in the way. The table is made of one material. It is pure in expression and expresses a high degree of artistic - as well as craftsmanship quality. Gaspard here in light soap-treated ash with Babette in white steel, untreated oak backrest and cognac leather seat.

33

ivo. In a home or any other context, where there are too many things, nothing shines through and where a piece of furniture is too strained and unnecessarily adorned, the simple detail loses its magic. In this light our entire collection can be seen. In regards of Ivo the honest and angular T-profile design gives us the opportunity to experience a completely credible and plain simple piece of furniture. Detail of Ivo in white concrete and under frame in white aluminum.
