Rooted in nature

Nestled in an idyllic landscape, Huttwil is the ideal place to gain inspiration for new ideas every day, and to reconcile mobility and sustainability. In addition to the high level of Swiss quality, a FLYER also stands for a fundamental and clear attitude towards the environment. FLYER is committed to an intentional and sustainable way of life and to active and healthy leisure pursuits.

The FLYER factory is a clean producer

A logical consequence of the attitude towards sustainability is its reflection in the factory building. The modern industrial building was constructed in accordance with the Minergie® standard (passive house) and generates more energy than it uses. The whole factory is geared towards sustainability and functionality. A heat pump extracts heat from the ground and the integrated ventilation system feeds up to 90 % of exhaust heat back into the fresh air. The excess heat produced in summer is fed back into the ground. The rainwater harvesting system on 40 cubic metres is used for toilet flushing and the bicycle wash so that precious drinking water is not wasted.

The mobility of tomorrow

FLYER believes that the bicycle is the most progressive form of mobility. Since 1995 we have been working to make this mobility accessible to everyone, at every level and at every age. FLYER e-bikes represent a modern, sustainable and healthy lifestyle. Whether for everyday use or leisure riding, FLYER means being intelligent on the road. FLYER only uses high-quality materials so that all FLYER owners can enjoy their e-bike to the full for many years.
