About me

I am a Bachelor or Interior Design (Commercial) graduate from Billy Blue College of Design (Torrens University). I have a strong work ethic and bring energy and enthusiasm into everything I do. Reflecting on my studies, this course has taught me the ability to adapt to the ever-changing nature of interior design. I am passionate about creating spaces that create a positive social and environmental impact on the community whilst simultaneously being seamlessly beautiful. I am always being inspired by my surroundings, particularly by the natural Australian landscape.

Gorman Store Fit-out COMMERCIAL

Rammed earth walls, customised sculptural stones and brass elements. This design is a notion to the hometown of humble beginnings for Gorman. The sculptural forms are a reflection of the multifaceted formations of the cliffs and the toppling rocks which make up the Great Ocean Road. It was the raw, natural surroundings that inspired Gorman designs to the bold iconic brand it is today.

Elwood is known for their young and active locals with a sophisticated yet calm lifestyle. This area is popular for couples without young kids, couples and young professionals. This area is mostly flat or apartment living (71.9%), most of which have very limited outdoor space. As a result, the streets are lively, local parks and the beach are public spaces often populated.

Counter plan Custom counter designed for the ease of preparing specialty coffee. The addition of the built-in knock box and milk jug rinser was a requested function by the head barista. The single opening at the end of the bench is to create the space for those one-on-one interactions between barista and local customer during the coffee making process.

OFFICE FITOUT

The fit-out reflects the 70s era the Ripcurl brand was founded. This was a time where surfing began to be recognised as a professional career. This project embraces the Australian surf coast lifestyle with a refined palette. The brief required a workstations to accommodate for a minimum of 80 employees, locker storage, break out spaces and suitable amount of meeting rooms. A screening zone adjacent to the reception is central space for new surf films to be premiered, client pitches or the live streaming of the World Surfing League in the background for knock-off drinks. A gallery showcasing Ripcurl and the evolution of surfing takes up the otherwise vacant space.

Le Velo Cafe, Sydney

HOSPITALITY FITOUT

Le Velo cafe is located in the hub of Sydneyâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s centre. The clientâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s wanted a space that reflected their passion for street art and cycling. A commissioned artist was selected to bring bold colour into the space while the furnishings remained clean cut and modern. The requirements for this brief included a commercial kitchen, toilet facilities, bar area, a space for bike racks and outdoor seating. The double height open area maximises natural light to filter through the space whilst also having dining areas beneath lower ceilings with low hung pendants to create a more intimate space. This brief involved developing a full documentation package including reflected ceiling plans, sections and elevations.

This installation takes the user on a journey to firstly appreciate the ocean in its glory to then distorting the view the further along you move through. This warped view is symbolic of the drastic and harmful change plastic pollution is making to our oceans.
