Reading for Life
About this collection Life always has its challenges, and no one can deny that recent years have been more challenging than most. Sometimes it seems hard to ask for help. The books in this collection offer support across a range of issues. Use the class number to find the books on the shelves. You can ask the Librarians for help to find what you need, or, if you prefer, ask a teacher or a member of the Health Centre or Wellbeing teams to contact the Librarians to arrange for you to borrow the books. If you feel uncomfortable borrowing a book from the Library, use the Sora app to access OverDrive eBooks. No one else will be able to see which eBooks you have read. Books can help, but sometimes you need more than a book. If you are struggling, please do not struggle alone. There are many people who want to support you. Talk to family, friends, teachers, support staff, the Health Centre team, the Wellbeing team, your doctor or an organisation who will listen in confidence. A list is included at the end of this brochure. Life always has its challenges, but you can rise to meet them.
