The name is formed from two words: “Rock” to make the function of the service clear and “ScRoll” (coming from “scroll bar”) to emphasize the strong web based side of the brand, which is at the end recalling “Rock’n’Roll”, a memorable name for a music retailer. Also the logo, a combination of guitar and usb mouse, is based on these two concepts and relating to the multichannel retailing and yet still fun and playful. The colors chosen are the very basic colors to balance the strong pictural visuality. 16

Due to the characteristics of the field there are still more physical stores at the musical instruments market.
