Since 1956, when first founded in Buenos Aires (Argentina), Editorial Claretiana started walking down the path of evangelization through the Word, having as its main objective being at the service of evangelization. So traditionally, we have incorporated as part of our corporate identity the words of Saint Anthony Mary Claret: ‘The book is a tireless evangelist, a missionary who is never quiet’. Founded by the Claretian Missionaries, Editorial Claretiana continues a long publishing career that has its origins in the founder of the Claretian Congregation, St. Anthony M. Claret., and the Religious Library of Barcelona, born in 1847. Since then, the Claretian Missionaries have created many Publishing Houses in numerous countries around the world. In recent years, all the Claretian Publishing Houses have come together to be part of the Claret Publishing Group; and to provide a missionary and evangelizing service through its publishing services. The Catholic Church has also led us the way with the document of Aparecida which, added to our charism, calls us -once again- to renew our missionary service in a strong tension and with a discipleship goal ‘that is never quiet’. It’s not an easy task. However, Editorial Claretiana assumes it with joy and dedication; insisting that the Word of God, our pastors and all the Latin American people are incarnated in each of our publications. Our own background has been formed over the years ‘with one ear in the Gospel and the other in the people’. Thus, it attempts to reflect a simple and pastoral style which, True to the mission of the Church, is inserted into the life of men and women of our time. It features topics such as: • Catechesis • Spirituality and Christian commitment • Bible • Liturgy • Family and Social Pastoral • Youth and Children Pastoral • Church and current affairs • Catholic Church Documents and Social Doctrine • Theology and Consecrated Life • Ethics and Psychology

The Claret Publishing Group, born in October 2011, gathers all Claretians publishers around the world. A common logo, used by all Claretian Publishing Houses along with each own logo, means greater strength and identity in the evangelizing publishing services; while continuing to be a stimulus for further progress in the collaboration and the creation of joint projects for evangelization services. The same image identifies us as a group and, at the same time, allows us to have a strong presence in major international book fairs. Increasing online presence and the use of new technologies are some of the challenges which are faced by creating links, allowing us to offer international solutions.

Spirituality, Discipleship and Mission. Editorial Claretiana presents all the titles from Pope Francis during his time as Cardinal of Buenos Aires, published in our publishing house. With introduction from the Cardinal Rodriguez Maradiaga, Mons. Jose Maria Arancedo and others, the texts are grouped according to three key concepts with which they relate to: Spirituality, Discipleship and Mission. The set includes most of the published work of Pope Francis, compiled in three volumes, elegantly presented and edited. It constitutes a veritable compendium of Pope Francis’ thoughts.
Pope Francis, the Poor's Pope and simplicity's apostle, has revolutionized the Catholic Church and has wrapped It in an breathe of hope and missionary zeal for all Christian people. His thoughts are profound but he is able to express them with simple ideas which are intense and deep in content. He is able to assist and illuminate the essential everyday human concerns, whether believers or not. From his election as Cardinal of Buenos Aires to his election as Pope, Editorial Claretiana has published 16 books written by Cardinal Bergoglio. Before long, naturally, Editorial Claretiana became his regular publisher. This obviously strengthened the good relationship. The then Cardinal Bergoglio wanted us to be his usual publishers and editors for the duration of his service as Archbishop in Buenos Aires. So we now have all the books he wrote during his time as pastor in the archdiocese and, from here, they will be known around the world. The publishing rights to edit all his writings, as any reproductions, until the day before he was named Pope are held by Editorial Claretiana, donated by him to us. Thus, a close fraternal relationship was established between us, author and editor.

This book was commissioned by Cardinal Bergoglio to Editorial Claretiana in February 2013. The texts included homilies presented in the Te Deum National Day on May 25th. In March 2013, when the work was practically ready to print, we decided to wait for his return from Rome to track the book, something that never happened as his appointment Pope. Then Pope Francis trusted the noble task of promoting and understanding each homily, with a reference to the historical context in which they were transmitted, to the Social Ministry Team of the Archdiocese, from the hand of its director Fr. Carlos Accaputo; offering, as well, clues for reading and reflecting on both a personal and a communal level . This selection of nine homilies is not made at random, but summarizes his social thoughts in a prophetic genre, announcing and denouncing. A prophetic message illuminating people’s walk since his voice is the voice of the forgotten, outraged and oppressed , beyond time and borders.

The Via Crucis is a significant and important time of piety, for Christian communities, during Lent and Easter: genuine time and heartfelt prayer; the essential plot is guided by the Word of God which indicates the succession of traditional ‘stations’, moments and pauses to contemplate the painful steps of Jesus towards Calvary. (...) Pope Francis has warned us that "with Cruz happen to understand its meaning as 'spirit' with the look." Let us, therefore, for the cross to challenge us. Let our eyes be weighed by contemplating it. There is no previous science without determinism... let us say that there is wisdom, the key to interpreting life expectancy. It is this wisdom that breaks all human logic for the sake of superior logic. It is the logic of God, who has taught us that the Cross itself bears no logic, pain or death, but a logic of love and hope. A set of selected words of Francis for accompanying our contemplation. Let us go with him to this mystery and follow Jesus. But we do not -Francis warns us- "just the shock of the heart"; let this Way of the Cross also help you us out of ourselves to meet the others. Let us move to the frontiers of existence, to our brothers outsiders, homeless, especially those who are further away, forgotten, in need of understanding, comfort and help

Theology Kairos Collection The title of this collection is not chosen randomly. "Kairos" is a Greek word that means the time as a "special moment" as the "right time." The works presented in this collection contained all the inexhaustible richness of the word of God attested and fed in to Scripture. Inspired by the word through the interpretation and comment, it means that the interpreter is in her time as a privileged moment the word, and that he does not want to be anything more than a servant of the word (Lk 1 2). If it is true that all things have their time in the sun (Ecclesiastes 3, 1), it is expected that the works published in this collection convey something of the original Kairos. Target: To all Christians who want to deepen the themes of Scripture and its mysteries.

The Author
A living earth for all is a longing and a desire expressed in the title. But it is also an expression of God's plan; therefore a right of every human person, and a duty to ensure that all is well ... This work is divided into two parts: the first contains the biblical, patristic and magisterial teaching. Principles and certainties that can not fail to be considered by men and women of faith to consider these issues. The singing of psalms, the preaching of the Church Fathers, the encyclicals and other instances of teachers help us a rich theological and pastoral reflection. The second part addresses the environmental issue from spirituality, economics, politics and other sciences. In this case the authors risked and them discussed current issues about which there is no a common view in the Church. However they have been called considering their scientific, technical or academic expertise, and pastoral works ... We long for this work to be a contribution to reflection and awareness of the gravity of the situation in which humanity finds itself, of which we are part. We want and deserve, because the Creator wanted a habitable earth for all. However, there are economic and political interests that leave outside most of the world population. Sometimes it intends to apply the law of the jungle, the law of the strongest, expelling from their land to the weaker and stripped to their smaller and weaker rights . If there is no place for the poor we are facing an injustice that cries to heaven and we run the risk of claiming that the earth is only for some.

Jesus calls us in anywhere and shape. There are different ways to respond and follow Him. Some of them are expressed in each priest, who speaks through his life and what you do. Here the author is a mere spectator, he meets some of these simple men, let tell us how they live, what they do and how in his vocation they discovered the secret desire of happiness. With introduction of the Pope Francisco when he was still Cardinal of Buenos Aires, this book was published about the same time that the new Pope was chosen. During his pontificate, he repeatedly mentioned the need for "shepherds with sheep smell." This book talks about them, these "shepherds with sheep smell." Cardinal Bergoglio argues in the preface: "The testimony of so many men and women who follow Jesus closely builds the Church, makes it grow, precisely because the Church grows by attraction, not by proselytizing. These men and women are the living stones strongest in the assembly, are examples that mark paths toward wholeness. ""I believe that the presentation of these dialogues will bring us to the life of the priest, apostle and follower of Jesus, sent by the Lord to teach, sanctify and lead his faithful people. And no doubt that their example will also be fruitful for many young people are left looking for the Lord, "says the current Pope Francis. In this publication, the priest Fernando Lobo wanted to offer priestly figures who strive with their daily follow Jesus, to proclaim the Gospel and work in the building of the Church. This is a set of interviews that the author priests from around the country. Each is shown as in everyday life and in the exercise of his ministry.

Almost fortuitously and occasionally, I decided to submit sketches of men of flesh and blood who embodied the ideal of ministerial priesthood in their lives. Many have come to the canonization and beatification, others are in the process of doing and never get more as they say habitually to the altars. My intention is to stop talking to the holy lives of these priests. "
Along with these reviews, the author includes a retreat for priests, as well as those preparing to receive the sacrament of Holy Orders. So, anyone who wants a moment to stop and think about the model of the saints and their own life and mission of the priest. • Brief biography of each saint, and reflection of its greatest virtues. • Intended for all men and women to recognize and value the priests that God gives his church again. • Designed especially for priests and bishops, to learn to embody the ideals of the priesthood. • In simple language and entertaining, divided into short chapters to meditate every day.

The Author
What we have in our hands is the story of a call of love of God and a thoughtful response. Having become a priest, Juan Ignacio admitted that his mission was beyond the limits of his city and he needed walk inland with our brothers who live in the town of Añatuya (Santiago del Estero - Argentina, a zone very depressed social and economically) and share with them his life, his values and customs. And so this is how God, with his simple way of doing things, was captivating my heart, through the heart of the people of Santiago del Estero. While in Buenos Aires I was very happy to be a priest, with its challenges, difficulties, with its fast pace, its apparent "indifference" to the things of God; -and felt a little long time-that God was inviting me to take more steps in my delivery. I could not stay in peace, to see that in many places, people had Mass every so often. While in Buenos Aires, people can choose a few blocks and the mass that is most comfortable in a common weekday. This strongly hit my consciousness and could say no leave me alone. From these pages, through letters, writings and stories, we will know how close was that our Father God touched the hearts of this brother, and help us to open our ears to hear the voice of Him that resonates in each of us. From his experience as a priest and missionary, John Ignatius, Juani, invites us to be his companions on the road together and recognize the footsteps of Jesus in our lives.
Fr Juan Ignacio Liébana is a diocesan priest ordained in Buenos Aires, and since his teens was involved in missionary groups, like many young people in Argentina. "I met the diocese of Añatuya through missions we were doing with the missionary group of the parish San Ramon Nonato of Capital Federal in July 2005 From there, both on summer and winter, we went with some young people to share the Word of God in some communities near the city of Añatuya, belonging to the parish of St. Joseph. From these missions, it was like God was making me learn about the people of this diocese, their needs, their concerns, their ways of expressing faith, their religion, and above all, his great wealth “. He is currently pastor of El Santo Cristo, in a place called Santos Lugares, where the shrine of the Virgin of Huachana, where every year many pilgrims attend the zone is located.

These writings were given to light, as an inner necessity, an imperative that forced me to write, to narrate, to count and thus to share. All these experiences, contained in the words, very own, but why are all the same. They sprang from the depths of the heart and because of this nature, want to reach out and touch the hearts of those who read them, encouraging them to discover the inner lanes, pushing them not to have the same experience, but the same walk inside of your heart , where God speaks quietly but very clearly where God teaches that God comforts where God guides, These testimonials pages deal of experience that the author lives, discovering and letting permeate the forest and its people in their priesthood. Walk him and invites us to us to explore together. The affection of others, discouraged by the plans are frustrated, discover the value of certain things even in adverse situations, bewilderment, sadness ... are just some of the emotions described herein. Angelo Giuseppe Roncalli gave us the new winds of Vatican II and a life of holiness. The five minutes from Juan XXIII join a book that seeks every day of the year with the sweet and loving words of this holy and in turn us to grow spiritually with the good's pope example. Pope Francisco, in the canonization Mass, we remembered us as "The call of the Second Vatican Council, John XXIII proved a delicate docility to the Holy Spirit, and was for the church a pastor,a guideguided, guided by the Spirit. This was his great service to the Church; so I like to think of him as the Pope of docility to the Holy Spirit. " And St. John Paul II reminded us in his beatification "many people have been conquered by the simplicity of his heart, combined with a wide experience of men and things! Certainly the flurry of innovation that brought Pope John XXIII did not concern doctrine, but rather expose mode; was new mode of speaking and acting, and was new sympathy with approaching to the common people and the mighty of the earth. "
