Geometries used were a square, circle, rectangle and triangle. Shapes interact and complement each other creating a smooth, friendly transition of spaces allowing visitors to experience the openess and enclosures of the site. The plaza's ptupose was to become a getaway from the day to day city life.

Urban Park shows a double level space keeping the original geometric shapes all throughout the design.

RIVlR

PATH River Path consists of a series of paths leading to a watchtower at the top of hill. Paths must frame views and create open and close areas for visitors to experience.

Design based on the use of variations of a shape to create paths, frame views and divide spaces into private and public areas. Interaction and separation of paths had to be taken into consideration.

CONTAINtR

HOUSE Concept based on the use of two containers to make a living space. Containers must maintain shape yet dimensions could be altered to a set dimension in order to provide for the program of the space. Model was made on 3ds Max as a first project to learn the program's features and tools while constructing the model. After construction of 3D model next step was to learn the use of materials, lights and shadows in both the interior and exterior of the model.

Two IN ONE

, Project based on a brother and sister sharing an apartment where each will maintain his/ her own privacy yet share spaces as family. Differentiation and separation of program must be done not only in the distribution of the program within the space but also with the materials being used. Project derives from a piece of art by a well known artist.

m~?J:i~\& First stage of project was to co me up with several diagram studies which helped us understand the artist's work and ~~'-..... techniques.

Project was based on an artists's piece of work. Tara Donovan was the artist of this piece Titled "Untitled 2008" Artist uses everyday items to create large scale pieces using the method of repetition.

StcOND FLOOR PLAN Each floor consists of share spaces. The first floor has more shared spaces and those can be categorized as family shared spaces like the living room, dining room and the kitchen. The brother's main spaces are on the first floor making him independent from his sister's spaces. The second floor is the opposite. Almost all the spaces are for the sister and her family yet ther is a double height spaces where her brother's office is but it can only be accesssed from the first floor. This way privacy is kept for both siblings and yet the apartment becomes almost like a home for both siblings to interact with each other.

New York City

Ha bet t I a for Humanity"

Project was based on designing an addition to the space outside the Jay Street Borough Hall subway station. Addition had to be for the non-profit organization of Habitat for Humanity. The design and development of the space had to be based on the work provided by Habitat for Hwnanity.

Diagrams were based on unity. Both diagrams represented the unity in the non-profit organization among volunteers. It was a combination of different people and pieces coming together to create a greater good. In this case a home for low income families. Concept models were developed as a progression of the diagrams where volumes and sizes took place followed by the interaction of the different materials used.
