With three overtimes played, this is the longest game in Elmira College men’s basketball history and only the third game in program history that exceeded one overtime period. The last time the Soaring Eagles played a game that featured more than one overtime was in the 1991-92 season. Following Saturday’s defeat, EC is now 0-3 all-time in games that have multiple overtime periods. Four in Double-Figures: Neil Randolph ’15 led the Soaring Eagles with 27 points against the Golden Flyers and was one of four EC players who scored in double-figures. Behind Randolph was David Borelli ’15, who scored 15 points before fouling out late in the second half, Gino Leonardi ’16, who contributed 14 points, and Justin Henderson ’16, who chipped-in with 12. This is the fourth time this season that Elmira had four players score double-digits in a single game, but the first loss suffered when that happens.
