“I attended this year’s Sales Innovation Summit hoping to build valuable relationships with industry professionals. It was a great highlight of my college career because I was able to network with so many different people, who could potentially be my future employer. I would love to express my gratitude and appreciation to the Alan and Jeanne Hall Foundation, MarketStar, and all the companies that attended the job fair for their support of the marketing and sales department here at the Eccles School. Without them, none of this would be possible.

Thank U!”

Graduation: May 2024

“I originally attended the Sales Summit simply to gain more information regarding the opportunities to me as a graduating senior. I hadn’t realized that this event would be the catalyst that led me to get the position that I will be starting after graduation. After speaking with many of the companies in attendance during the career fair, I discovered truly how great an opportunity this summit was. I was able to set up interviews right then and there for full-time positions right out of college. This opportunity showed me how well prepared I am for the professional world and made me feel more confident going into it after graduation. In the end, going to the Sales Summit was an invaluable experience that helped me find a path after graduation, and I am so grateful for the connections I made.

“The Sales Innovation Summit far exceeded my expectations; I hoped to attend and network with successful people in the sales industry hear about their career journeys and experiences as sales professionals. But by attending, I was able to even better connections than I thought I would. One speaker in particular was very helpful; after her speech, she gave me even more insight into the industry she works in and even offered me an opportunity to interview for an internship. I feel a lot more comfortable about what it takes to get into sales and what kind of mindset it takes to succeed in it. Thank you for your incredible support of the sales program and students like me.”

“The Sales Innovation Summit is not possible without the support of community partners like the Alan and Jeanne Hall Foundation and MarketStar, who believe in the value a sales education for all students provides. Here at the Eccles School, we are incredibly grateful for your support and vision as we continue to work on delivering high quality innovative learning experiences for our students. Thank you for your generous support, we look forward to our continued partnership in delivering sales programming to our students.”

Thank you for your ongoing commitment to supporting the Sales Innovation Summit and sales programming at the David Eccles School of Business. It’s because of partners like you that we can continue providing students with the opportunity to learn from leading industry professionals and then apply what they’ve learned in unique and hands-on ways.

Having the Sales Innovation Summit housed at the David Eccles School of Business is something I am incredibly proud of. In just two short years, this Summit has grown to become the premier sales industry conference for college students in the state of Utah. But we recognize that the Summit is not just a conference—it’s a catalyst for growth and opportunity for our students. These achievements are only possible due to your generous support, and for that we are so grateful.

Thank you again for your partnership. Your generosity fuels this work, driving us to be innovative and elevate the learning experiences that we provide for our students.

With gratitude,

and George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Presidential Endowed Chair in Ethical Financial Reporting
