EXPERIENCE
I have recently achieved my BA Hons Degree in Design for Graphic Communication at the London College of Communication which is part of the University of Arts London. Such achievement has been characterised by a final year, focused on rigorous research-led projects that helped me to establish the solid opportunities that modern digital technologies and social media offer to independent organizations.
London College of Communication, London. BA Hons in Design For Graphic Communication (2011-2012) Foundation Degree in Design for Graphic Communication (2009-2011) Diploma in Digital Graphics (2008-2009)
Ade Heritage (Freelance 2012) Southwark Council (Freelance 2012) Museo Energia (Freelance 2012) La Vires (Freelance 2010) Studio Gilbert&George(Internship 2010)
In particular for my final major project, I have conceived a a branded independent media platform which makes use of collectivejournalism and modern technology in a situation of crowd disorder to monitor and denounce police misconduct, through the use of cloud-computing and smartphone-generated media.
Universita della Musica, Rome(Italy). Diploma in Sound Design and Sound Engineering (20022003)
My degree has also helped me to set up durable plans for my postgraduate studies and for my aspirations as independent design practitioner. The course has absolutely exhorted me to appreciate the importance of design thinking when applied to non creative fields.
Liceo Classico Platone, Rome(Italy). Diploma in Humanities (1997- 2001)

RECENT WORK
CONFLICK (UNIVERSITY WORK 2012)
CONFLICK IS A BRANDED INDEPEDENT MEDIA PLATFORM , AIMING TO MONITOR POLICE ACTION, DURING A SITUATION OF CROWD DISORDER. THE MEDIA HAS BEEN DESIGNED COMBINING ELEMENTS OF APPLIED NON VIOLENT STRATEGIES, COLLECTIVE JOURNALISM AND MODERN TECHNOLOGY.
Produced as a response to my final major brief, Conflick questions and investigate the role of the graphic designer as political agent and social entrepreneur. On the purely aesthetic side, it also offers a new visual approach to civil resistance, acknowleding the evolution of the audience towards a more complex graphic language.
RESEARCH The solution of the brief was the use fax guerilla to release flagrant images of police officiers adopting unlawful behaviour. This solution has been chosen, since a multitude of plaints are determinant to fasten the opening of trials. The solution has been achieved through the application of various primary research techniques.
DESIGN PROCESS The modular logotype aims to communicate the connection of the Conflick programme with an eventual smartphone’s camera. Circle with circle. It is a modular logo because it’s form vary according to the protest Conflick is interacting with.
GRAPHIC ELEMENTS
The Conflick programme can eventually connect with 8 values and protest’s agend: Natural rights, Anticonquest war, Student/Academic Activism, Industrial Action, Sustainable ecosystems, Anti-nationalism, Street Recreation and Regime Change. The logo’s arrangement is inspired by the Star of Chaos conceived by Michael John Moorcock.

NURSERY ROW PARK (FREELANCE WORK 2012)
IDENTITY DESIGNED FOR A COMMUNITY ORCHARD SITUATED IN THE HEART OF ELEPHANT&CASTLE. THE PROJECT HAS BEEN REALISED WITH 3 OTHER COURSE FELLOWS. THE PROJECT WAS REALISED UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF COURSE TUTOR PAUL BAILEY AND PATRICK LACEY FROM STUDIO ÅBAKE.
My personal contribution to the project has been the creation of a bespoke typeface and a logotype. Inspired by Saul Bass of Cut letters the typeface aims to communicate the sense self-made. It is also infomed by the angular shapes that distinguish a art installation situated in the middle of the park.
