• This marks the first East Coast Conference Championship Tournament appearance by the Firebirds since joining the conference in 2012. • UDC’s 13 wins this season is the most since 2002 - when the Firebirds won a school second best, 14 games. This year’s team is three wins shy of tying the school record for wins in a season with 16. • Sophomore midfielder Gabriel Torres is No. 2 in NCAA Division II for points (48) and goals (19), and ranks T-6th with 10 assists. • The Firebird defense and goalkeepers have forced five shutouts this season and allowed one goal or less 12 times.

Initially founded in 1851, the University of the District of Columbia has a rich history. About Mercy:

Mercy College is a New York metropolitan area college of over 9,000 students studying at five campus locations including: Dobbs Ferry, Bronx, Manhattan, White Plains, Yorktown Heights.
