About Mercy:

• This is Molloy’s first appearance in the ECC Championship since 2017. The Lions fell to Mercy, 1-0, in the semifinals. • Six members (Jackie Carty, Dana Poetzsch, Daria Castrogivanni, Lauren Marinello, Amy D’Eloia, and Carli Fonseca) of this season’s team appeared in the 2017 postseason match. • Carty recorded her 20th career shutout, which set the program record, in the Lions’ 4-0 win over Chestnut Hill Oct. 30. • Poetzsch was named the United Soccer Coaches Division II Player of the Week (9/24). The junior tallied 13 points in the team’s wins over Caldwell and Lincoln. • This season marks the first time the program has recorded double-digit wins since 2006 when it won a program-best 14 matches.
