A S KY S C R A P E R FULL OF ROOMMATES Home typologies that we live in has big impact on our lives. The walls between us do not allow us to get together enough. Only movement in the buildings that has vertical circulation is between the floor people live in and the ground floor so the proposal was breaking walls in between us in order to integrate spaces and create new circulation order. The inspiration point comes from works and writings of Lebbeus Woods. He stated that walls are meant to separate, that is true. After all, it is an essential mission of the architect to ‘define space’, which means to construct limits, edges, boundaries that carve out particular pieces of undifferentiated space for human purposes
Walls of many different shapes and materials are prime means at the architect’s disposel and we are used to thinking of them as dividers between one side and another In this project, . rather than separating people’s lives withs sharp edges, free spaces were designed to serve different purposes in the direction of the will of people that can be used by everyone. These areas are not exclusive to a single family unit rather these places where you can meet with the upper floor neighbor or other neighbor who sitting below.

The structure includes private areas besides the free spaces Private areas are used for needs such as sleeping and hygiene whereas the free spaces can be used as living space and working space or these spaces can vary according to people's willingness. this system is questioning new possible social models by creating free space that hold us more together by breaking old house typologies Another important point in the project is the core system. This core serves both circulation system and publicity. This core is like a street because the free spaces are located around the core and there is no other walls between the core and the free spaces so people who move in the skyscraper always in relationship between people who use spaces around the core.

ONE DIMENSIONÂ LOWER Some of the most interesting material phenomena occur at critical points of intensity. The familiar sequence of states of matter, Gas-Liquid-Solid, illustrates in its own humble way the spontaneous micro-architectural changes that matter undergoes at these critical points.

Because if you want to be a good person, firstly you should discover yourselves in all ways which are body, mind and soul. These 3 concepts represented by a philosophy, yoga and ballet in the building. The design methodology is to create a form by inspiring from yoga poses. Essential yoga poses are analyzed and then they came together acoording to their flow. Plan of the building was created with regarding to this process .

FORMAL STRATEGY F O R MOF AL T H E STRATEGY B L OFU I THE DING BUILDING Descartes noted that the testimony of the senses with respect to any particular judgment about the external world may turn out to be mistaken. Things are not always just as they seem at first glance to be. In order to make people experience that illusion is another important point of the project. Thanks to glasses and their positions, people are able to meet lots of reflections. For example when the one expecting to see yourself in the mirror, he/she may see somebody else’s reflection. Seeing may turn out to be mistaken. Things are not always just as they seem like Descartes said.

SOME OF THE PROBLEMS AND THEIR SOLUTION IN MASTERPLAN A. PARKING PROBLEMS; The lack of parking areas create high density of vehicles around the campus which leads traffic jam. B. GREEN SPACE USAGE PROBLEM: The campus has a lot of unused or not well-organized green spaces which creates a feeling like there is no green space around the campus C. CIRCULATION PROBLEMS IN THE CAMPUS: Because of the topography the circulation between those buildings are not enough and easy A. PARKING SOLUTION: Parking areas are multiplied and distributed in the edges of the campus as a boundary. B. GREEN SPACE USAGE SOLUTION: By distributing buildings in the campus site and organizing the pathways, green spaces has more attractive points and alive. C. CIRCULATION SOLUTION IN CAMPUS: New access lines located at the topography problem is solved with a specialized flying pathways (form the steepest part) and horizontally elongated pathways.

D I A G R& MAO DM S ULES When sliders change, volumes and relationship between units are altering. Two dimensional flat sheet of paper transforming into three dimensional object with paper volume. With are doing them micro-controller surfaces and volumes are getting active. The connection of solid and void are shown with shade and shadows While units are less altering, volumes are changing in more dynamic way Different units are getting together with different scale and proportions. Several changes of modifications occur with thickness change of material

VOLUME The main objective of this computional course is to gain the intellectual skills that are necessary within the realm of digital design practice in architecture. The ways of computational thinking is introduced and experienced through exercises which focus on computational problem solving, cognitive models, generative systems, shape grammars, spatial configurations and design tool development. The volume was created in both digital and physical interphases. Thanks to grasshopper, the behaviour of volume was also observed digitally.

FORM F I N D I N G P R O C E S S The most important factor which makes the space sacred is light. It is the reason for people to move. This chapel was designed to move people by light. The ramp takes you to let have the sky which has most dense sunlight.

F I N D I N G P R O C E S S The building is atelier of wood art. Master analysis the geometry of nature and apprentices and novices form wood according to these analysis. This wood form is used for small home decoration.In the building there are 3 main parts which are for working, guests and living space for master, apprentices and novices. And these 3 main parts mixed according to the theme of intersection. In the working area there are production spaces, form making space and workshop area. In space for guests, there are exhibition area and coffee shop. In space for living area, there are bedrooms, living room kitchen and library.
Besides the project, I wondered the potential of the triangulation to create a form

The story is reanalyzed and according to this analysis a collage was created. Some shapes or parts of the collage were taken to determine the concepts of the collage. And then 4 concepts which are intersection, getting closed , perception and enlargement were determine. Based on the 4 concepts three spaces which are view, contemplate and communication for large, medium and small groups were created. pathways (form the steepest part) and horizontally elongated pathways.

13. YOUNG ARCHITECTS COMPETITION Throughout history “Unknown”has been a concept which has stimulated the intention for learning and which has enabled scientific development. While scientific research aims to search for the unknown and produce fresh knowledge, it interprets the already known by raising and questioning new unknown issues. In this framework the disciplinary development of architecture may be possible through researching new unknowns on the basis of existing knowledge and shedding light on them As long as human beings exist, the habitat which they occupied has/had(?) become uninhabitable. We have began to understand the word 'recycling' while the earth has came near to it’s end and we were too late to save the Earth. We had to explore the space because we could not get rid of the wastes which we produced. However, we realized that we have already polluted the space that we were trying to escape to. We have contaminated our space in order to make our lifes easier in earth. We have begun to acquire the most important lesson of the world's end, "Recycling" as philosophy. We used the space garbage that we created to form the space by recycling them in to architectural elements.
