We know how valuable your time is and how important it is to feel prepared. With EC Online you can access materials and start learning as soon as you book with us. You can also test your level, and share your goals and motivations, so we can prepare too.

If you have booked Homestay accommodation, you will arrive to a warm welcome from your host. If you choose a residence option, an EC representative will be on hand to make sure you are fully settled. You will feel 100% at home before school on Monday.

You can join in with a number of activities on the Sunday before school begins. These could include brunch, a city tour and a typical local dinner – all while getting to know the EC team and your fellow students. You will receive your invite to the activities two weeks before you arrive.

We give the best possible welcome. Refreshments, music and 100% of our team's attention creates a comfortable VIP environment on your first day. A short orientation talk is followed by lessons introducing learning at EC and local life.

Solo en los EEUU: EC está autorizada bajo ley federal para inscribir estudiantes no inmigrantes. Por ley, para emitir el formulario I-20 EC deberá recibir: La dirección completa del domicilio del estudiante, una copia del pasaporte del estudiante, un extracto bancario actual (60 días o menos) que pruebe que existen fondos suficientes para cubrir la matrícula y los gastos de subsistencia, ya sea del estudiante, el patrocinio del banco de la persona, o de la institución. Cancelación del alojamiento después de la llegada Los estudiantes que quieran dejar el alojamiento deberán avisar por escrito 4 semanas antes de su finalización. Los estudiantes serán reembolsados con los gastos de alojamiento restantes, después de deducir el precio del alojamiento que sí se ha utilizado (cargo realizado a tarifas estándares) siempre incluyendo el período de preaviso requerido. Si no se avisa con 4 semanas de antelación, se aplicará una tarifa de cancelación igual a 4 semanas de los gastos de alojamiento. Nota: Ciertos tipos de alojamientos pueden estar sujetos a cargos de cancelación especiales. Cancelación del alojamiento antes de la llegada

Todos los centros de EC permanecerán cerrados los días festivos y estos días no serán recuperados.

-Los estudiantes que cancelen con 14 días o menos antes del comienzo de su curso o de su alojamiento (lo que ocurra primero) o para los estudiantes que hayan tenido el visado denegado, EC les reembolsará los honorarios percibidos en su totalidad menos las tasas que no son reembolsables, tales como: cuota de inscripción, tasa de alojamiento, gastos de mensajería y el seguro médico). Los valores de estas tarifas varían según la región. Los costes se enumeran para cada escuela en la lista de precios. -El reembolso se realizará en 45 días. Cancelación del curso, reducción después de haber llegado o estudiantes que no se presentaron: Para cursos de 4 semanas o menos, las clases no pueden ser canceladas. Las tasas de matrícula no son reembolsables. Para cursos de 5 semanas o más: - Los estudiantes deben avisar a EC, como muy tarde, el viernes antes de la terminación del curso.

No ocurre lo mismo con las clases One-to-One que sí serán recuperadas. No se reembolsarán las clases perdidas. La fecha de inicio del curso suele ser el lunes. Si este día fuese festivo, el curso comenzaría el siguiente día laborable. Vacaciones de Navidad 2017/2018 Las escuelas estarán cerradas durante los festivos de estas fechas (por favor vea la lista de precios de la escuela. Las lecciones perdidas en estos días, no serán recuperadas. Reducción del número de lecciones EC se reserva el derecho de reducir el número de lecciones si no hubiera suficientes estudiantes. No se reembolsará el precio del traslado si todos estos datos no son enviados por el estudiante 7 días antes de la llegada. El precio del trayecto incluirá un máximo de 1 hora de espera. En caso de retrasos superiores a 1 hora, a los estudiantes se les realizará un cargo adicional en la escuela. INFORMACIÓN SOBRE LAS CLASES - Los cursos se imparten de lunes a viernes y se programan por la mañana y/o tarde. RESPONSABILIDAD El personal de EC y sus representantes no serán responsables de las pérdidas, daños o lesiones causados a personas y/o a la propiedad excepto cuando la responsabilidad se imponga expresamente por ley. EC Malta: En forma de petición, EC considerará las llegadas y partidas durante la semana basado en una semana de 7 noches. Los estudiantes llegando y partiendo durante la semana no recuperarán lecciones o actividades perdidas.

EC se reserva el derecho de usar un horario de doble sesión, alternando las lecciones entre la mañana y la tarde. EC se reserva el derecho de modificar los horarios de las lecciones; sin embargo, el número total de lecciones por semana o programa no serán afectados.

POGRAMA DE ACTIVIDADES

FORMULARIOS DE EXENCION Todos los estudiantes menores de 18 años, deben proveer un formulario de exención parental firmada, con el fin de participar en dicho programa de actividades y poder recibir asistencia médica de ser necesario. ASIGNACION DE REMESAS EC no provee un servicio de asignación de dinero para gastos extra para los estudiantes. Los padres deben asegurarse de que sus hijos tengan el suficiente dinero para gastos extra para la duración de su estadía. En caso de que los estudiantes necesiten de dinero extra durante su estadía, es necesario que los padres les transfieran los fondos a través de un servicio de transferencias internacionales. PETICIONES ESPECIALES Si bien EC se esfuerza para dar cabida a peticiones especiales tales como preferencias para compartir habitaciones, esto no puede ser garantizado.

TERMINOS Y CONDICIONES

Los detalles de llegada y partida incluyendo: tiempo de llegada y partida, números de vuelo, aerolínea y punto de origen DEBEN ser notificados 7 días antes de la llegada para que EC provea las transferencias al/desde el aeropuerto.

Los actuales Términos y Condiciones de EC sustituyen cualquier Términos y Condiciones que fuesen aplicables al momento de la inscripción del estudiante.
