Essential job responsibilities: • Develops relationships with local professionals to increase sources of referrals • Maintains visibility in the community by participating in organizations and other community service activities • Accepts and processes mortgage loan applications and forwards complete and regulatory compliant credit files to underwriting for processing - monitors loans in process for closing purposes • Counsels prospective mortgage loan applicants in the mortgage loan process • Looks for cross-selling business development opportunities • Must always remain compliant with all related regulatory requirements
Requirements: • Working knowledge of mortgage products, secondary market and related services • Thorough understanding of the origination process and underwriting criteria • A minimum of 3 years of residential mortgage lending sales experience • Ability to educate borrowers on loan products • Familiar with Calyx Point software This is a commission based sales position.
