TELEVISION GUIDE Wednesday July 4, to Tuesday July 10, 2012 Highlights this week 1. Tina Fey is chiefly known for her impersonations of Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live and as the creator of and star in 30Rock (what a talent!) but in the light comedy Baby Mama (Prime, Saturday, 9pm) she plays a career woman who discovers in her late 30s that her uterus is T-shaped and hires Amy Poehler to be a surrogate mother. The usual complications ensue. Fey is one popular gal, and you can learn a lot about her at www.tinafeyfan.com. 2. It’s funny, isn’t it? Last week in reference to another zombie movie we mentioned Shaun of the Dead and now it’s lobbed up on 7Mate at 9.45pm on Sunday. Co-writer and star, the clever British actor Simon Pegg, not only has to deal with his relationship issues with his girlfriend, his mother and stepfather but with an apocalyptic uprising of zombies. Of course the best place to set up defence is at the local pub. When the zombies are finally defeated, they are used as cheap labour and entertainment, much like TV executives. Make sure you also track down Pegg’s movie Hot Fuzz, which is even funnier. This North Coast NSW television guide is brought to you by the team that produce these great publications:
