O U R P RO F E S S IO N A L K N I F E Our CHEFSTALK KNIFE is inspired by top chefs and designed for professional work in the kitchen. High-performance steel that is particularly distinguished by its hardness, cutting efficiency and corrosion resistance, traditional tried and tested craftsmanship during production in Solingen and excellent design that doesn’t just impress in terms of appearance but also its pleasant handling – combined in one knife. We developed the CHEFSTALK KNIFE together with ChefsTalk, the international online network for chefs and gourmets. It is distinguished by its outstanding quality and is becoming a chef’s knife for professionals.
T HE C HE F S TA L K K N I F E Every CHEFSTALK KNIFE has a 64-layer Damascus steel blade. The unique blade pattern, which is called Wild Damascus, ensures flexibility and thus prevents the knife from breaking. The sharp edge of the chef’s knife is ice tempered (VG 10, approx. 59 – 61 HRC Rockwell). With the sharpening of the cutting edge, the layers are cut differently lengthways and crossways: resulting in the unique, organic pattern. An optimal cutting capacity is achieved thanks to the combination of the two special steels and meticulous production. The extremely sharp cutting edge glides effortlessly through any food. The handle is ergonomic and sits perfectly in the hand whatever the job – even for longer periods of time. The knife handle is joined using a classic t hree rivet design and the rivet in the middle with ChefsTalk logo is an identifying feature and mark of quality. You can choose between the finest olive or elegant walnut wood for the handle.

T H R E E - S TA R EQ U I P M E N T Our knives in the series FAVORITES and TALENTS are produced with a lot of know-how, meticulousness and attention to detail. In elaborate processes, we find out the ideal blade shape for outstanding cutting results and the kind of handles so that they have an optimal fit to hands and offer perfect balance. Working with our knives should be fun, and just as professional and enjoyable as the dishes being prepared with them.

FAVOU R I T E S K N I V E S The knives in the FAVORITES series are forged in a traditional process, so that the steel is compressed and gains strength enormously. Additional forming creates a very fine structure, which has a positive effect on the edge-holding ability. So that the blades are elastic and at the same time extremely resilient, they are tempered in ice as blanks and in oil after forging. The correct hardness and the fine grain make possible a high degree of sharpness. The steel we use for our knives is exclusively carbon-containing chrome molybdenum vanadium steel (X 50 CrMoV 15), which provides an optimal balance between rust resistance and edge-holding ability.

K N I F E BL OC K TA L E N T S The blades of our TALENTS chef’s knives are forged from a single piece of chrome molybdenum vanadium steel (X 50 CrMoV 15) and shaped with a drop hammer. They are then tempered using the latest technology in oil and ice. The homogeneous material structure with an even hardness ensures they are kept well free of rust. The handles are mounted using the most modern plastics in the welding process. The joint between steel and plastic is created without a gap. This is particularly important for hygiene. All together, all knives run through a manufacturing process of approx. 40 steps – adhering to the highest quality standards. An extraordinary, lasting sharpness goes without saying. This is achieved with an additional hand polish for each knife. All TALENTS chef´s knives are suitable for the dishwasher (55° C). Cleaning by hand is gentler and to be advised for high-quality knives. The whetstone provided is particularly suitable for sharpening our knives.
