ID STANDARDS

The ID STANDARDS book is a guideline to help provide the consistency needed to represent a clear and concise brand message. It is specifically designed for corporate needs and is not intended for product or to be used as PRODUCT TRIM art. These guidelines should be used for: corporate identity, signage, retail, corporate events, printed materials, advertising, outdoor postings, event marketing, and p.o.p. These guidelines will insure a consistent brand image. From license groups to international distributors our brand will have a consistent presentation. Please review this guideline and update all of your corporate collateral with the correct branding. Moving forward, please keep these guidelines in mind.

Please reference the printed matrix provided to find the particular logo mark needed, then locate the file name above. Once you find the name, the folder number will be to the left of it. The CD directory is organized by folders that correlate to this system. All logos are in Adobe Illustrator 8.0, and all letters have been converted to paths to alleviate any font issues.

ORIGIN OF THE RHINO

WHY THE RHINO? The rhino has a certain “clumsy poise.” The rhino looks docile but can take off at 35 mph and blow your mind. The rhino’s a survivor. The rhino’s fiercely loyal. Most important, the rhino’s the only four-legged animal that doesn’t move backward. It’s only concerned with moving forward and looking ahead (not unlike our approach to fashion). Strong roots, fierce loyalty, understated power and forward vision. Marc found a truly unique symbol for a truly unique company. The rhino represents Eckø Unltd. to the fullest.
