On May 5th, Craig & Heidt hosted a celebration in recognition of five decades in the civil construction industry. INEOS - THE DAILY MILE The Daily Mile is a children’s health and wellness initiative supported by INEOS. Earlier this year, The Daily Mile announced that one million US children are now taking part in the initiative.

The Daily Mile takes classroom teachers and their students outside for an additional 15 minutes of movement. Participants start by walking, jogging, running, or rolling at their own pace. Within a month, most children build enough endurance to run for the entire 15 minutes. For most, this equals the distance of a mile.

This simple initiative has proven benefits. Children’s physical health improves. Their mental well-being and learning improves. To help even more children be their best selves, the Daily Mile is giving $50k to schools for health and wellness initiatives.
