CHRIST VS. CHRIST BY: C. GLORIA HENRY
G.COLLEEN HENRY
INTRODUCTION When Christ was born in this world of Mary, He came for a specific reason, to bring forth the Gospel of Salvation unto man and woman and to save us by His blood from eternal damnation. Since Christ was crucified, there arose many so -call Christian churches that used His name for their own gain. What I would like to discuss is their version of Christ and the real truth about Jesus Christ. How did all these churches using the name of Christ come about? “ And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel; only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach, Isaiah 4:1.

CHRIST MINGLED WITH PAGANISM So what happened to the truth? Eventually, after the death and resurrection of Christ, Jerusalem was destroyed in 70AD. Not only that, the churches set-up by the disciples were destroyed and the Christians were persecuted by Rome. It was a dark time. Constantine soon emerged and took hold of the name of Christ, mingling the truth with paganism and forming a new religion, a watered down belief in Jesus. This watered down belief formed the religion of the Roman Catholic Church, which has many arms that splintered from it forming the Protestant churches. The Protestant churches have their own version of the Catholic Church minus the Pope.
G.COLLEEN HENRY
CHRIST MINGLED WITH PAGANISM They have designed their own Christ for profit. They have added and subtracted from the real bible, making a designer bible of sorts. This designer bible is the bread they choose to eat. Now there are all kinds of breads to suit one’s taste, just like there are different PseudoChristian faiths but with the same basic tenets of the Catholic Church. Let us examine this designer Christ from the imagination of man.
G.COLLEEN HENRY
“DESIGNER” CHRIST What are some of the principles of this “designer” Christ: 1. He loves everyone no matter what they have done and would never punish anyone. 2. You can pick and choose which day you want to worship Him. 3. The preacher is always right and you must pay him to preach and pray for you. 4. He wants everyone to be rich because this Christ was rich after all. 5. He wants you to celebrates all holidays irregardless of pagan roots.
G.COLLEEN HENRY
“DESIGNER CHRIST 6. Designer Christ changes with the times so you can choose any bible to read or how to worship him. 7. You can come to Christ at any point in your life as long as you say you are a born again Christian. 8. You will be forgiven of your sins even though you do the same sin over and over again. 9. Everyone goes to heaven when they die as long as you ask God for forgiveness before you die. 10.If you do good deeds God will accept you no matter what else you do.
G.COLLEEN HENRY
“DESIGNER CHRIST I have listed ten things that you may have heard people say about Christ. The Catholic Church is very wealthy with a base around the world. Many Protestant churches are very rich as well and they increase their wealth by forming businesses around the globe. They pretend to be righteous, spreading their doctrine to the poor people of other nations about this so-called Christ . Both the Catholic and Protestant faiths have built churches worldwide, preaching that God loves everybody. We know this to be false doctrine. So What is the real truth about Jesus Christ?
G.COLLEEN HENRY
DOES GOD LOVE EVERYONE? Absolutely not. Nor will he hesitate to render judgement upon those who disobey. How do we know? Take Noah & the Ark. God sent a flood to kill all that breathed with the exception of Noah and his family plus a select amount of animals. And He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah with hail and fire. Does God hate? The answer is yes. Remember God’s words, “Was not Esau Jacob’s brother? Saith the Lord: yet I love Jacob, and I hated Esau and laid his mountain and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness,” Malachi 1:2-3.
G.COLLEEN HENRY
CAN YOU CHOOSE HOW TO WORSHIP God gave us a specific day to worship Him from the beginning. It is the 4th commandment verbalized and written in stone by the fingers of God, Genesis 2:1-3. God sanctified the 7th day and made it holy above all other days of the week, Exodus 20:8-11. Does God Change with the times? “For I am the Lord, I change not: therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed,” Malachi 3: 6. However, unlike God, man changes with the times, doing whatever is convenient or fits the trend at that moment. “Wherever the wind blows,” that is this world’s motto.
G.COLLEEN HENRY
IS MAN/WOMAN ALWAYS RIGHT? We are right in God’s eyes when we obey the commandments of God and testimonies of Jesus Christ. The preachers of today are the false shepherds that lead God’s sheep astray. “Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! Saith the Lord. Therefore thus saith the Lord God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit the evil of your doings, saith the Lord,” Jeremiah 23:1-2.
G.COLLEEN HENRY
WAS CHRIST RICH? Preachers of today often promote prosperity and being rich, touting that even Christ was a man of wealth. What did Jesus say concerning riches? “And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master; I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest. And Jesus saith unto him, “The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head,” Matthew 8:19-20.
G.COLLEEN HENRY
WAS CHRIST RICH? A rich man, who claimed he kept all of the commandments from his youth, asked Christ what else he needed to do to be saved, Christ then challenged him and told him to sell all that he had and give to the poor. The man became sorrowful because he was very rich. “And when Jesus saw he was very sorrowful , he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God, Luke 18:18-25. We can see that the rich depend on their wealth rather than God.

WHAT ARE THE TRUE HOLY DAYS? From the time that God gave Israel His commandments, He gave them specific feast days to be kept in its season, the first being the Passover, Leviticus Ch 23. God gave 2 feast days by man that we celebrate because they too represent great victories over Satan. These feast days include: 1) Purim, which represents the victory of the children of God during the days of Esther when the Jews were in jeopardy of being destroyed, Esther 9: 26-32; and 2) The day of Dedication established during the Maccabees when they won a victory over the Greeks who tried to destroy the Jews as well, 1 Maccabee 4: 52-60.
G.COLLEEN HENRY
WHAT ARE THE TRUE HOLY DAYS? Did Christ celebrate Dedication? “And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the Dedication, and it was winter. And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon’s porch,” John 10:22-23. No other so called religious holiday that man celebrates using Christ’s birth or death is of God, but was instead created for idolatry and paganism no matter how warm and fuzzy it may seem.

CAN YOU PICK ANY BIBLE OR HOW TO WORSHIP HIM? God gave us a specific bible to find His word as a guide on how to serve Him. That is the King James Version. Why ? Because it is a true translation from the original Hebrew and Greek languages without man’s particular interpretations or religious belief. This bible has stood the test of time since its official authorization in 1611.
G.COLLEEN HENRY
CAN YOU PICK ANY BIBLE OR HOW TO WORSHIP HIM?
Recall the scripture “Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me) to do thy will, O God,” Hebrews, 10:7, Psalms 40:7. This can be found in the Old and the New Testaments. God as we know never changed. It was man who tried to change His laws and mingle it with his paganism. As stated in Hebrews 13: 8, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today and forever,”

CAN YOU COME TO GOD AT ANYTIME? The false shepherds teach that you can come to God at any time in your life and He will accept you and save you. Let us see the truth. Everyone has a specific time to come to God and repent for his or her sins. If he/she does not repent during that space of time, the Holy Spirit will leave this individual and they will be lost. This is written in Hebrews. “Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin, Hebrews 3:12-13.
G.COLLEEN HENRY
CAN YOU COME TO GOD AT ANYTIME? The Holy Spirit leads us unto repentance but if you refuse to repent the Holy Spirit leaves you and there is no further repentance for you. This is the warning that Christ gave about the Holy Spirit. “Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men,” Matthew 12:31. “Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, Today if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation in the wilderness: When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, they do always err in their heart: and they have not known my ways. So I sware in my wrath, they shall not enter into my rest.)” Hebrews 3:7-11.
G.COLLEEN HENRY
WILL CHRIST FORGIVE YOU NO MATTER WHAT? A born again Christian is not one who is sinning. When you continue to sin in iniquity over and over again and ask God to forgive you repeatedly for the same sin, it is like you are crucifying God afresh, putting Him to open shame. “For it is impossible for those who once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, and have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, if they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame, Hebrews 6:4-6.
G.COLLEEN HENRY
WILL CHRIST FORGIVE YOU NO MATTER WHAT? This is what Christ said, “Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity,” Matthew 7: 21-23.
G.COLLEEN HENRY
WHEN YOU DIE YOU GO TO HEAVEN? People believe that you will go to heaven when you die if you ask God’s forgiveness, even if just before. First, when one dies, they do not ascend to heaven but instead, remain in the ground, just as Christ did when He died. Let us also remember the scripture “for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return,” (Genesis 3:19).
G.COLLEEN HENRY
WHEN YOU DIE YOU GO TO HEAVEN? And as we discussed earlier, man has been given a certain amount of time to come to God. “Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them, Ecclesiastes 12:1. Recall, Judas Iscariot who betrayed Christ, he tried to repent for his sins but was unable to because his time ran out and the Holy Spirit left him. So he went out and hung himself for the evil that he had done to Christ, Matthew 27: 3-5. This was not a man at peace, who was forgiven before he died nor did he go to heaven.
G.COLLEEN HENRY
WILL GOOD DEEDS SAVE YOU People believe that doing good deeds to mankind is all you need to get into heaven but we will refer back to Matthew 7:21-23. Many people do good deeds. The Catholic Church and Protestant Churches do good deeds. Politicians, teachers, coaches and all sorts of people do good deeds. But good deeds even in the name of God cannot save us. Only those who keep the commandments of God and his testimonies will be saved. What did Christ say in Revelations 22: 14? “Blessed are they that do his commandments that they may have a right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. This friend, is the Real Truth about Jesus Christ! Amen.
