INTRODUCTION We've learned so much about dear Jesus. How great He is and how much we need Him. But shhh, come close, sit back and listen. Let's get to know the Holy Spirit. In heaven above, created by Father. Sent down to the earth that we might draw closer. To all that is good. To all that is pure. To help us be righteous and help us be true.
Get Those Thinking Caps On As we discuss the Holy Spirit you may notice some things similar to Jesus but there will also be differences. So let's get started. Are you ready? School is in session!
Take It Away Eli! Hey Eli! What do you know about the Holy Spirit? First things first, He is God. Now you may wonder how that can be. Didn't we say Jesus was God? Yes! So is the Holy Spirit. You see, the bible teaches us that the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit are very, very close. They are one, a family in heaven! The Father is the most powerful and He made Jesus and the Holy Spirit to help His children be saved. That includes you and me. And we need them all to live.
Tell Us More Eli! Well the Holy Spirit loves us too. Just like Jesus. And He wants us to be saved and go to heaven. To help us, there are many wonderful things that He does for us. I will you tell you 3!
Eli Knows! 1) He teaches us all about Jesus, the law and the teachings in the bible. Because He is the Teacher of Righteousness.

Eli Knows! 2) He helps us to want to change our ways so that we are good and righteous. This is what we call repentance.

Eli Knows! 3) He comforts us with love and reminds us about the wonderful words in the bible when we are sad or scared. Did you know that one of his names is Comforter?

• Think of something that you are good at. Do you use it to show God you love Him?
Ellie Knows 5) When Christ comes to save us from this earth, the Holy Spirit will change us from from within. This means what we think in our minds and how we feel in our hearts will be holy and perfect and the devil will never be able to bother us again.
• But people say “nobody’s perfect.” So why does God expect us to be perfect? What does that mean?
• What does holy mean?
Ellie Knows 6) He will change our bodies so that we are immortal. Now that's a big word. It means we will no longer get sick or get hurt. We will live forever and never die. Now that is pretty awesome right.

The Names of the Holy Spirit Like Jesus, the Holy Spirit has more than one name mentioned in the Bible. What do you think they are? I will tell you.

Symbols of the Holy Spirit Like Jesus, the Holy Spirit also has symbols that we are familiar with on the earth to help us better understand what He does for us. Some include‌.

Symbols of the Holy Spirit I did not explain these symbols. That is because you will. Each student will be assigned a symbol/work of the Holy Spirit to teach the class with the assistance of a parent/ teacher. Though not specifically mentioned in the Bible as a symbol of the Holy Spirit I have added…
• The symbol of a heart to represent the Spirit as a Comforter
• The symbol of a bible to represent the Spirit teaching the word.
