Foot washing signifies Sin is dirty The way that we walk is how we live our lives When we walk our feet must be shod with the gospel of peace (Ephesians 6: 15) A person whose feet are spiritually washed, are walking perfectly before God and is clean “every whit,” as Christ said Like baptism, the physical act of foot washing means nothing if it is not paired with obedience of the laws & genuine love towards our brethren

In Closing We must walk in the footsteps of jesus This includes obeying the 10 commandments & testimonies and practicing sacraments of christ such as foot washing But we must ALWAYS REMEMBER, foot washing alone means nothing in the eyes of God It must be paired with our ability to daily walk in the laws of god as well as showing true love & kindness to our brothers & sisters

Closing Scripture “And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment. And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.”
