HIS FORGIVENESS Christ to forgive us for our sins, which is a key component of mercy We ask for forgiveness daily in our prayers for without it we cannot be save (Matthew 6: 9-13). Our Savior has the power and will to forgive us of our sins (Matthew 9: 2-6, St. John 8: 3-11 & Luke 23: 39-43).

HIS SACRIFICE Christ was sent down to this earth to die for our sins that we might have the precious gift of grace, a second chance to gain eternal life (Romans 5: 8-10 & 14-15, Hebrews 2: 9-18) Christ becoming our sacrificial lamb was a great act of mercy that we will never be able to repay and grace is a free gift bestowed to everyone willing to receive it

COMPASSION FOR THE POOR Christ commands us to showcase compassion to those that are less fortunate (Matthew 25: 34-40) Despite the scriptures, the current day attitude towards the poor does not support this belief The sons of men have become consumed with greed and have turn their backs on the poor
