The Feast of Dedication is the time that we praise God and thank Him because of our church. The church is the house of God. It is a very special place. It is a holy place. The church is where you worship God.

We have a church. We go there every Sabbath to pray to God and to worship him with our brothers and sisters that worship like us.

Our Very Own Church
Sabbath is the 7th day of the week. It is the most special and holiest day of the week. We go to church on Sabbath to worship God. The 4th commandment says to “Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy.” We learn this from the Bible in the book of Exodus Chapter 20. We do not go to school, play on the playground or watch common TV shows (ex: Kids to Kids).

Our Very Own Church Our church has a name. Do you know the name of the church? It is the Household of Israel Temple of Jesus Christ.
Our Very Own Church
It has two big yellow doors and a big area with closets where we can hang our coats. It's called a foyer. There is a pretty table that sometimes have candy on it and a colorful sign. There is a water fountain there and two bathrooms.

We have a sanctuary where we worship God and pray and give our testimony. There are red chairs and carpets in the sanctuary. We have drums and keyboards and musical instruments.

We need to be quiet because others are speaking. We must listen, and then speak when it is our turn. Don’t joke and play when you are speaking during your class in the sanctuary.

We have a kitchen and dining room too, where we eat yummy things during break.
God blessed us and gave us a church. Respect the church because it is God’s house.

We must keep the church neat. It you eat candy don’t throw the wrapper on the floor, pick it up and put it in the garbage. And never ever tear up anything in the church. Don’t color on the walls, or in the books or especially in the bible.
