WHO IS THE HOLY SPIRIT?

The Holy Spirit is God.

God the Father created Him along with Jesus, Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding. He was there during creation. When Jesus created the heaven and earth the Holy Spirit brought things to life, breathing the breath life into the animals, man and woman.

HOLY SPIRIT MAKES US REPENT

The Holy Spirit makes us repent. This means he helps us to feel sorry for any bad things things we have done.

When we repent for our sins we ask the Lord to forgive us. How do we ask God for forgiveness? We ask by praying.

HOLY SPIRIT TEACHES US

The Holy Spirit teaches us all about the bible and how to be like Jesus. He is also called The Teacher of Righteousness or the Spirit of Truth. He is that small voice in your mind telling you not to do something bad and to be good instead.

FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT

Remember the fruits of the spirit? They are love, joy, peace, faith, temperance, longsuffering, meekness, faith, goodness and gentleness.

These come from the Holy Spirit and help us to be like Jesus, making us good and righteous.

THE HOLY SPIRIT COMFORTS US

The word comfort in the Bible means to make strong.

Even though we go through a lot of troubles and bad things, the Holy Spirit will make you stronger so that you can overcome.

During the end of time the Holy Sprit will come upon the saints of God He will make our hearts and minds perfect. This mean you won’t ever want to think about or do anything bad again. You will only want to do good. He will make your body immortal, which means to live forever. You will never get hurt or sick. You will never die.
