SURF INSTALLATION This was an installation of various layers on the sport of surfing. My main goal was to inform the beginner where the best sports are to surf, where to find the locations of local surf shops, a ‘zine of tips for beginners, a t-shirt of a surfers kit, and a film.

COASTERS OF SURFING LEGENDS These coasters showcase the world’s greatest legends of surfing and shaping. Each coaster holds a fact about each surfer and shaper. These were housed along side the timeline. 6

TIMELINE OF THE SURFBOARD This was an installation showcasing how the surfboard has changed throughout the years. The one inch surfboards were housed on the grey circles so people could pick them up and interact with the installation. 8

TAKING APART A SURFBOARD INFOGRAPHIC POSTER This poster is meant to inform a beginner who has no knowledge of surfing. Informing them about the inner structure of a surfboard, the terms used for the parts on a board as well as the models and how the boards perform on waves.

HIJACK CAMPAIGN X THE PORTLAND ART MUSEUM This was a campaign project for the summer calender of events for the Portland Art Museum. The event was based off the concept of hijacking the PAM to showcase artists who always wanted to show art in a museum environment.

Luxury CULTAGANDA X BRANDING TYPOGRAPHY This was a typeface created from elements of the Rocky Horror Picture Show and the type structure of propaganda fonts. Using these two elements together and placing it on luxury items pushed the idea of the consumer being manipulated into buying material items.

TYPE INSTALLATION X LAMP

The Light That Failed. This is an installation piece that is using a quote by author Rudyard Kipling. The type has been cut out of a lamp type unit and is being projected onto the walls by a light source housed within the piece. The installation will be placed in either a dark room where the phrase can be projected

onto the walls. Or, the piece can also be used as a lamp or furniture piece within a living space. When the type is projected onto the walls you can read and walk 360Ëš around the piece. The installation can also be placed on a rotating unit that can project the type in a constant 360Ëš motion.
