Extraction Lab Practical
I revised an experimental procedure for an acid-based extraction in my Organic Chemistry Lab. Upon completion of the project, I was notified by the instructor that my innovative approach had one of the highest percent yield (by weight) and purity (based on melting point) among the class.
Chemical Literature Assignment
I compiled and in-depth document which identified the key ingredients of Macchar Mosquito Repellent. My research included documenting the structures of each ingredient, describing the structures of organic compounds, and learning how to utilize several research sources in the library.
