The Career Center (TCC) served 15,427 students and alumni this academic year. TCC staff conducted 3,110 individual advising/counseling appointments with students and alumni and presented 408 professional seminars, classroom presentations, and special programs.
1,149 recruiters from 509 organizations and approximately 4,000 students participated in on-campus career fairs we sponsored.
224 companies scheduled approximately 2,640 on-campus interviews. 956 students participated in the HIRED mock interview program utilizing volunteer community interviewers; a 47% increase from last year. 4,400 students and 6,968 current employers in our online jobs database This year we completed our efforts to become one of only a very few Virtual Career Centers in the nation by adding online chat, resume writing, online interviewing, and online ePortfolio capabilities. As a result, 43,000 people from all 24 time zones accessed our website. Our JLD grant for off-campus part-time jobs generated in excess of $1,000,000 in student salaries this fiscal year.
Six months after graduation, 90.4 % of Career Center survey participants indicated they were employed. Another 13.8% indicated they were enrolled in a graduate or professional school.
