Operation Christmas Child DEADLINE FOR DROP OFF IS NOVEMBER 22 River of Life Church, Both Locations
We'll be collecting boxes this year for Operation Christmas Child, an amazing program that uses practical items to share the gift of the Gospel to needy children across the globe, just by filling one shoebox. River of Life will be participating this year, and YOU can get involved. Every gift-filled shoebox is a powerful tool for evangelism and discipleship—transforming the lives of children and their families around the world through the Good News of Jesus Christ! Calling all men! Our Steadfast Elevate Men's Conference 2015 will be on Friday & Saturday, October 9 + 10 with Pastor Rick Ciaramitaro in our Jacksonville location! On Friday night starting at 7pm, we'll have a dynamic session followed by a ribeye steak dinner. Then, on Saturday morning from 8am-12noon, we'll have breakfast and coffee followed by an awesome time of worship, the Word of God, prayer, gifts and time to spend with some pretty cool guys. On Sunday, October 18 in our Jacksonville location, we'll be dedicating babies and children to the Lord during our Baby Dedication service. This is a special time where our Pastors and the child(ren)'s parents pray over and bless each child. A sign-up sheet will be available in the foyer for interested parents. Mission & Work Weekend OCTOBER 23-25 • ALL DAY
Calvary Campground, Ashland, VA
Guys! We need your help! We are looking for at least 16 men to join "the dream team" for a Mission & Work Weekend. We will be going up to Calvary Campground in Virginia on the weekend of October 23-25 to strip a roof and put a new roof on at the Christian campgrounds there. This is a lot of work, but will be a great blessing to the people at the camp. Everyone will be driving themselves; carpools can be set up, and those who would like to carpool can exchange numbers.
