Artist... photographer... writer... francophile... vegetarian... fixie cyclist... minimalist... easy going... I spent fifty years first designing TV shows, then photographing every subject under the sun, and later publishing and editing magazines, all to planned layouts. Now, half a century after leaving art college, my artistic freedom has returned as I rediscover working with paper, pencil and paint - in part a reaction to current digital photography being too technically pixel-pushed rather than a more satisfying and creative “hands-on” operation.
