WE HOPE YOU LIKE THE NEW STYLE...

of ForkKnifeSpoon and this edition is packed full of ingredients, products and ideas. Our newsletter editor, Alex has relaxed things a little and we love the new format.

Nothing epitomises English summertime more than afternoon tea. With sunny days hopefully just around the corner, here are a few key ingredients that you might just like to try if you are planning on treating your customers this summer.

Spring has definitely sprung here at Goudhurst and everything around us has turned green pretty quickly. Asparagus from our local farms has begun and we’re very happy to have been able to add another grower in the village to our supply list. We can see the fields from the office so we know it’s freshly cut! Elsewhere, very excited about being able to add Woodall’s charcuterie to our list. Top quality English made products that offer great value for money. You’ll also see lots about chilli in this issue; a fair reflection of the ever increasing popularity of heat in the kitchen ! Here’s hoping Spring brings us sunny days and warm evenings. Toby

hat started off as a trend is now well established with cheese wedding or celebration cakes offering something a little bit different to people who aren’t keen on fruit cake or who simply just love cheese. They can also just be a brilliantly visual way to display a cheese course and when decorated can be a stunning centrepiece to any buffet table. We do not sell any ‘off the peg’ cakes so all our cakes can be tailored to the exact taste preference, party size and budget required.
