March Break Camps
Kids Place Camp
Join us for a fun-filled week at March Break Camp! This full day program will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (no Extended Care available). Each day will be packed with exciting games, activities, crafts & outdoor play! Campers will also enjoy one special guest and will be skating twice during the week. Skates, a CSA approved hockey helmet and warm clothes are required. Ages: 4 to 5 Years (Mini), 6 to 8 Years (JR), 9 to 12 years (SR) Location: Magna Centre
Mad Science: Eureka! The Inventor’s Camp
Children will overcome a series of challenges using basic materials, simple machines, tips from famous inventors and the most important of all – their mind. With a little bit of ingenuity children will create catapults and forts, construct working light sticks to take home and assemble a set of circuits with batteries and light bulbs. While Thomas Edison said “invention is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration|, this camp is 100% FUN! Ages: 6 to 12 Years Location: Recreation Youth Centre & Skate Park
