Preschool
Preschool Programs Baby Gymnastics Babies will enjoy crawling, climbing, sliding and flipping over age-appropriate obstacles. Each class consists of structured and free exploration circuits. Soft equipment and stimulating props allow babies to use their senses and experience different ways to move. Age: 9 to 18 Months Location: Gymalaya Session(s): Spring
Toddler Gym & Swim Parents and toddlers will play in the gym with our preschool equipment as they learn to interact with other children, followed by a parent and toddler swim in the pool. This is a great opportunity to get toddlers used to being in the water before they register for swim lessons. Stations will be set up in the tot pool for self-guided activities and play. Sportball Parent & Child Multi-Sport Indoor
Playball - Soccer Nursery 2’s Can Do
Parents/caregivers participate with their toddlers while guiding them through physical movements and the fundamental skills of eight sports. To promote social exploration activities include: motor games, songs, rhymes, stories and bubble time. Age: 16 Months to 2 Years Location: Armitage Recreation Centre and Ray Twinney Recreation Complex Session(s): Spring
This is a fun introduction to the basic soccer skills for your two year old, expertly guided by our experienced coaches. Parent participation required. Dress for weather and wear running shoes. No other equipment required. Age: 2 Years Location: Magna Centre Fernbank Mini #2 field Session(s): Summer
Tot Gymnastics In this fun-filled class, toddlers develop strength, balance and coordination in a safe, joyful and encouraging environment. Activities include crawling, climbing, swinging, rolling, tumbling and jumping using kid-sized equipment. Parent participation is required. Age: 1.5 to 2 Years Location: Gymalaya Session(s): Spring
Playball - Two Can Do! This program is a great introduction to gross motor and sport skills while providing a wide range of suitable activities which stimulate and improve locomotion, balance, body awareness, muscular development and fine motor skills. Preschool Sportball Parent & Child/Multi-Sport Indoor Parent and Child programs teach children introductory physical skills that builds confidence associated with our eight core sports. The program also helps adults understand proven teaching techniques that can be applied outside of the class. Tiny Tykes “ABC Come Learn Your Alphabet With Me” Children in this program will discover ABC’s with the help of a R.E.C.E teacher featuring fun activities in a unique setting that encourages early recognition of numbers and promotes reading and writing readiness in preparation for JK. Tiny Tykes “123 Come Learn Your Numbers With Me”
Craft and Playtime
