Ski and Snowboard School Our 4 and 5 day programs are designed to help you improve your riding skills while having fun and enjoying the picturesque mountain settings of the Garmisch Valley. We offer classes from beginner through advanced taught by PSIA-AASI certified Instructors. If you have never touched a pair of skis or a snowboard in your life, learn at a leisurely pace on our private beginner ski slope. If you are an intermediate or experienced rider, sharpen your skills with our professional instructors who know the mountain best. Snowsports instruction weeks include • 4 hours of daily instruction • Equipment rental including helmet • Lift ticket to appropriate slopes according to your ability • Final day ski and snowboard fun race competition • Transportation to and from Edelweiss Resort • Redeemable lift ticket deposit fee

Beginner 1 Day Special Uniquely designed for our guests looking to try riding for the first time. Learn the basic fundamentals at a leisurely pace on our private beginner ski slope. Our certified instructors will take you from equipment introduction to speed control through turn shape. The Beginner Special includes a 4-hour lesson, equipment rental, helmet and a Hausberg Backyard Ski Pass for our private ski slope.

These 2-hour lessons are designed to focus on specific areas of growth as a rider. You can book these lessons only through the Hausberg Lodge as a private, semi-private or group lesson. We can teach all skill levels and can be especially helpful for experienced riders wanting to get acquainted with the ski area. The two hour lesson does not include equipment or lift tickets to the local mountain. Skiing on our private beginner slope is included for the duration of the lesson. Lessons are subject to instructor availability, please call the Hausberg to reserve.

2 Day Holiday Weekend Specials Our two-day federal holiday weekend packages are specially priced for Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Presidents Day. These special prices are only available on the federal holiday weekends. Special activities are also planned on these weekends like night skiing, sledding, live music, kids activities and more. Please contact our Vacation Planning Center to reserve the federal holiday weekend specials.

Lesson Policies All lessons meet at 0900 hours and commence at 0930 hours. Please contact our Vacation Planning Center to sign-up for multiple day programs. Beginner specials can be booked at Alpine Adventures and the Hausberg Lodge. 2 hour lessons can only be booked at the Hausberg and is subject to instructor availability. Gratuities are not included. From beginner to advanced lessons, our comprehensive ski and snowboard Instructional programs are designed to enhance your skills while enjoying the beautiful alpine scenery. Five, four and two-day programs are available on the dates shown below.

Lift Tickets With over 31 lifts and 32 miles of groomed and maintained trails, there is a variety of ways to explore and enjoy the incredible mountain scenery. Lift tickets for skiing, hiking, sightseeing and sledding and are available for purchase at Alpine Adventures or Hausberg Lodge. Prices change based on the exchange rate. Sledding is a great adventure for the family to do together. Specially marked sled runs are available on the Classic Hausberg Mountain, Zugspitze or a local sled hill in town near the Kramer mountain. Either way, you will have an exhilarating ride and cherished time with the family. Want to try the ultimate sledding adventure? Try our guided night sledding tour! Bavarian Brotzeit / Ettal Monastery Your first stop will be a short stroll to the Ettal Monastery to see the exquisite Basilica. We will then visit the “Schaukäserei” in the beautiful Ammergauer Alps. At this cheese factory you will discover how local farmers make cheese and other delicious dairy products. After a tour through the factory and viewing of a short film you will have an opportunity to sample “Brotzeit Teller” - a traditional Bavarian meal. You will have an opportunity to purchase some of the Monks’ famous home-made beers and liqueurs. Your final stop will be at an Ettaler woodcarving shop to purchase beautiful crafts and decor.

Dachau Concentration Camp Dachau was opened on 22 March 1933 as a concentration camp established by the coalition government of the National Socialist Party (Nazi Party). Built on the grounds of an abandoned munitions factory, Dachau Concentration Camp lies 16 km northwest of Munich. You will visit an exhibit that recounts the terrifying and gruesome days of the Holocaust and watch a video of the history of the camp, including special presentations of the notable prisoners. Parental discretion advised for children under 12 to view the documentary film.


Partnach Gorge Day Tour The Gorge is an exceptionally mystical and charming place. Any trip to Garmisch should include a trip to this must-see natural wonder. You will be given historic information at the Olympic Ski Jump Stadium and at the gorge itself. Then walk along the beautifully carved stone with water flowing through the ice caverns. Afterward, indulge in a tasty dessert and/or beverage in a classic Gästhaus. It is also possible to experience the gorge at night with a torch! See next page for details.

Neuschwanstein Castle Towering over rocky crags at the foot of the Bavarian Alps rests the famous Neuschwanstein Castle constructed for King Ludwig II. This fairytale castle has been inspiring awe and wonder for years with its ornate and lavish interior along with a majestic design that even Walt Disney couldn’t resist when constructing his Cinderella Castle. Your tour will pass through the stunning Bavarian countryside before stopping at the Wieskirche, a beautiful pilgrimage church of the Baroque-Rococo style near the town of Steingaden. After touring the church grounds, we will travel to the highlight of the trip to see Neuschwanstein Castle. Hear stories and myths of the Fairytale King’s loves, pains and mysterious death along the way. Please note: It is a 45-minute uphill walk to reach the castle entrance. Alternative means are available for an additional Euro fee at the castle. There is also over 300 stairs within the castle as well. On the way back to Garmisch, we will travel through Tirol Austria.

Linderhof Palace The smallest of the three palaces built by King Ludwig II lies near the fairytale village of Oberammergau and is the only palace which he lived to see completed. Your tour will take you through this lavish palace to see the bedchamber, dining room, audience chamber, eastern and western tapestry chambers and the grand hall of mirrors. After hearing fascinating stories and history of the palace you will continue on to Oberammergau. Reservations Spa appointments are very popular with guests here at the POiNT Wellness Club. We recommend that appointments be made prior to, or upon arrival, in order to meet your scheduling needs. All treatments are subject to availability. We may not be able to accommodate your gender preference for your therapist due to staffing availability. With the exception of any current youth specials, the following rules apply: Ages 6 - 14 for My First Massages and Facials. All other treatments, ages 15 or older. Ages 6 - 17 must have a parent in the room during treatment, including My First treatments (6 -14). Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled service to fill out a health intake form and to use the restroom or shower. If you should arrive late, your session may be shortened to ensure the satisfaction of all guests or canceled if client is more than 10 minutes late after start time. During each treatment, you will be fully draped and covered with a sheet. Loose clothing is advised for any waxing treatments. Gratuities are not included.

Cancellations We require at least a four hours notice to change or cancel an afternoon or evening appointment. Morning appointments must be cancelled prior to 1900 the evening before. A $20 fee will be assessed for cancellations not meeting these requirements. No notification will result in a full charge of service. Cancellations must be made directly with the Point Wellness Club front desk at 08821-944-4150.

Health Drink plenty of water and avoid caffeine and/or alcohol before and after your treatment. Anyone with a contagious condition such as a cold or flu should not receive a massage. A massage could worsen your condition, spreading it throughout the body.
