F
or tech fans, 2001 was a notable year; in January, Apple’s iTunes was launched, which went on to revolutionise how music was consumed. That same month, Wikipedia went live, which has gone on to be a vast global reference source.
Also in that year, a product was launched into the office world that has also helped revolutionise how it works too – PFU’s ScanSnap range of document scanners. These scanners have helped to automate traditionally time-consuming tasks and boost productivity as a result.
The ScanSnap range has gone on to sell 6 million units across the world over the past 20 years; PFU has constantly updated and improved the range as new software and technology has been developed, helping to improve efficiency in the office even further.
