SENIOR police officer and an alleged robber were killed during a shootout Tuesday morning in Nabunturan, the capital town of Compostela Valley.

Nabunturan police commander Chief Insp. Hector Grijaldo identified the slain policeman
as SPO1 Julambri Astapan, while the identity of the suspected thief was not immediately known.
